Rumu

I really wish I could actually play the game. After Multiple tries of uninstalling and re installing. Verifying the files. Wiping the cloud data. The game will not load past the splash screens after I have only played through the first day. I can't even reach the menu to tweak the settings

Do not buy this game, the devs aren't supporting it and it has a game breaking bug where shortly after launch the screen goes completely black and the cursor starts ghosting, rending the game completely unplayable. Simply a waste of money, which is a shame, because the game was fun when it worked.

This game made me want to get a Roomba and put googly eyes on it. Sadly, my house is unfit for a Roomba at this moment, but once I move elsewhere, Rumu is coming. Fun game, great story. Less enthusiastic about the OST, but that's fine because by the end, you'll love Rumu, I'm sure.

I recall really loving this game back in 2019 when I played it. It's a cute, fairly quick game. Wouldn't expect an epic story out of it, but certainly I found it enjoyable, especially in a more quirky way. Mostly would suggest trying to grab it on a sale, and while I would say the game is worth it, especially at a sale price, I'm ultimately writing this review for its problems. • Three of the achievements are busted. If you're a completionist, I wouldn't suggest this game unless you're willing to force the achievements using console commands. • The game can fail to run, from what I understand, because of cloud data. Worked on my original laptop, but wouldn't run on my new one. Eventually found a thread about this and they said it was the cloud data. Wiped it, reinstalled the game, and it worked. If you buy this game make sure it works for you soon enough to give yourself a refund if it fails to run. For new players this shouldn't be an issue, but it's good to check. While this game was certainly worth it for me at its price point, it /does/ have its issues that by this point is probably safe to say it will never be resolved, and I felt that it ought to be known prior to purchase.
