Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 9.25/day in the week to Jul 16 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Created a few maps for Yume 2kki with this baby.
Until they fix this to allow for my old games to be ported over from the old RM2K, it's getting a not recommended. There are plenty of people who have dedicated years to this program that are getting screwed here. I can't even copy an event from the old version, so remaking one of my oldies won't work either.
I'm gonna be honest. The only reason I bought this was so that I could edit The 7th Stand User. R48 editor alone just doesn't cut it. I adore 7SU for what it is, but even being a free fan game doesn't excuse its truly horrendous balancing issues. Anyway, this version of RPGM still seems to work well despite being rather dated at this point.
the misery.
im drunk in rpg maker 2k
Sometimes it is hard to imagine that RPG Maker is probably the oldest game engine, that even was on PS1, too! RPG Maker 2000 (also known as RPGM2K) currently is the oldest title on Steam, and just looking at its UI and RTP (assets) makes me feel nostalgic and kinda happy; reminds me of old animes, such as Haruhi Suzumiya, and etc..
RPG Maker 2003 is nearly better in every way, but I prefer the battle system in this version. It's pretty criminal to me 2003 has no native option to disable ATB combat. You can still do a lot of things you can do in 2003, with some workarounds. Things I was surprised 2000 doesn't have: - Fog weather effect - Footstep sounds - Translucent text boxes RPG Maker 2000 also runs noticeably choppy on Win 11 and lacks the more advanced video options 2003 has. This is still a good version of RPG Maker, but its' uses are for very specific circumstances .(like needing no ATB and not wanting to mess with patches)
If you love the classics and want to make your own, this is for you.
Gotcha Gotcha Games will soon be shutting down and deleting the RPG Maker forums, erasing a decade and a half of user made resources, tutorials, and assets for the wider community to use and learn from. I don't recommend anyone purchase their releases because they show so little disregard for the community and its history.
