it's very cute! i haven't played creme de la creme, but the game is considerate of that and lets you customise it with whether you have or haven't. the main character customisation and stats are really interesting, the love interests all feel distinct and appealing, and the world and overarching plot is a neat glimpse into the politics of this world. it's great! i'd definitely recommend it

I think this is not bad game. If I could I would just make neutral review but because I can't I rather make a positive than negative one. I made two playthough first being nice and going after royal from other country. The options I could chose was somewhat what I would like my character to actually do.
But I had to say that plot where we had to decide if we want to take part in kidnapping was somewhat disturbing. First think I though when my character sent letter was why the ♥♥♥♥ make letter when you can just call? Do I really want to leave evidence? Or if I sent that letter why cannot that guy who made us take part in kidnapping take care of it? That guy had so much experience and he cannot even plan a little bit?
Besides of that I was expecting to have more detailed scenes with our RO which unfortunetly ended with few sentences, On my second playthough when I decided to go after bodyguard I decided to make my character a bit of an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and going after scheming and just ordering people around. In this playthough
when I got into kidnapping plot it was just disaster. I decided to not agree without knowing what someone want us to do. Our MC easly deducted that this phone call was somewhat connected to kidnapping and instead of warning his family that people are taking too much interest and calling guy who called us about that he decided to blabber that it was most likely him who schemed it. Fantastic! Like MC is scheming ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ he actually would like to see the kidnapped guy suffer. Why should he engaged to help him in any way? Saving grace was that he could not make this public and just make kidnapped guy return. But this is also stupid. That guy knew too much about behind scene and could potentially threat royals after. Eliminating him was in MC best interest.
Because of that second playthough was much less enjoyable for me. I get a bit more time with RO tho than in first playthough. To sum up story wise it was not bad but some parts were not to my liking.
love it
Good
É aquela coisa com os jogos do Powell-Smith. São dois enredos separados que só tangencialmente e circunstancialmente tem nada a ver um com o outro: o romance e o resto.
stories like this are very exciting
good
I've just finished Royal Affairs and I've had a lot of fun playing through it so I really recommend it, especially if you enjoyed its predecessor, Crème de la Crème. I'm not usually a big fan of school settings, but the Crème de la Crème and Royal Affairs setting is so light and charming that I enjoy the series nonetheless. They're good games if you enjoy low-stakes, slice-of-life stories. The game allows for a lot of customization and different choices. That being said I sometimes wished the stakes were higher and that the conspiracy had deeper roots and made the story's finale a little more exciting than it was. It might not be what most people are looking for in those games though. And while I do like the wide range of choices, I feel like it sometimes lessens the emotional impact of some scenes. I think the game doesn't go into too many details about the MC's feelings about some situations to allow you to imagine whatever you want. I just would rather the MC was a little more expressive. I also would like for conversations and scenes with the different characters to be a bit longer. I feel like it would give a bit more depth to the different relationships, which was something I felt was lacking in Crème de la Crème as well. But overall, it was a fun experience and I enjoyed my sunny MC and the bodyguard romance, which is definitely a trope I'm very fond of.
