It's short. The game has unsettling atmosphere that gets ruined by cheap jumpscares. Jumpscares are fun when done right, but here they get really annoying when it happen every 2 minutes. Even death is obnoxiously loud.
Unfortunately not very good. This is a pretty simple find-objects-in-maze kind of game whilst evading a monster. I got lost a lot and still beat it 100% within an hour. The monster is very easy to avoid and I only had one real chase with it in that hour. The only other threats are annoyingly noisy but easy to avoid rats. Game is absolutely packed with aggressive, loud jumpscares which did make me jump at times, but the game really has no room to breath or build tension, it will hit you with these jumpscares regularly. They're detached from the actual threats. Environment is okay but easy to get a little lost in and doesn't really hold any surprises.
Genre
Ein First Person Indie Horror Adventure mit leichten Shooter Einlagen
Story

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow third group
The game that's 15 years too late. Rotten Flesh would fit right in with 2012 indie horror games that I lapped up in my late teenage years. I'll be honest with you, as soon as I realize a horror game is in the "hide in a locker" subgenre, my opinion sours. It's an awful mechanic that ruins the tension and immersiveness of the game. Metal Gear Solid 3 was the last game to not make me want to gouge my eyes out with locker-sitting. The extent of the game that I saw was: roam around the sewer maze looking for evidence of your dog >> hide in a locker to avoid the monster with simple pathing >> repeat
Short, not really complex and does have jumscares, but it is fun to play through once.
Roy you forgot who opens the food
I played this game with high expectation of it being good, but the repetitive tasks, useless "roy shout" feature and frequent jumpscares that are just loud and obnoxious made it boring. I really tried liking the game, sadly the downsides are more the the upsides for me. The game price is also high for a game that you can finish in 1 hour without even trying to speedrun it. It's really short and if it was in the range of 5$ then I would have understood it. Nonetheless, if you are still planning on playing this game, then I would suggest you buy it on a big sale.
While there were some things that I liked about the game, namely the spooky atmosphere. However, the gameplay is unoriginal and the ending was cheesy and ruined the game for me personally.
I see this game got a lot of hate, but personally I loved it. I think the concepts are awesome, the scares are awesome (though some jumpscares do get repetitive), the gameplay was solid, and the atmosphere was excellent. One outstanding issue though, is that the save mechanic is completely broken. I had to do this game in three takes. Originally I got about 70% of the way through, saved it, and then returned the next day before going to work. But unfortunately I found out that the save was broken, I had no access to items required to progress, and certain events had to be replayed even though I surpassed them. So I had to restart the whole process, and on my third attempt, I got it done in about 30 minutes or so. Some people are complaining about the price... I don't care. I'm a huge horror fan and this, done entirely by one developer, is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dope. So. Yeah, I recommend it. 11$ ain't too bad to me personally.
