Not for me. The story feels lackluster, the persons have a personality like cardboard figures. I just couldn't get into this, and was quite bored at times.

from what ive played a really good game and story so far. I have lamplight city as well havent played much of that one yet although i saw that this game and lamplight are connected slightly, i havent really ran into anything in this game that would make it difficult to understand if u dont play lamplight so far. It is not a difficult game if you are use to point and clicks, Nice western theme game.

Even more intrigiuing than Lamplight City. Lots of different option, amazing story, dialogues and humor.

Schönes Point-and-Click-Adventure mit einigen pfiffigen, kleinen Erweiterungen, die ich nicht erwartet hatte und die mich positiv überrascht haben. Mochte die Charaktere sehr gerne und die Sprecher*innen (Englisch) machen es richtig gut, sie zum Leben zu erwecken.

A wonderful and enjoyable addition to the Point and Click genre. The world simply oozes charm and I simply cannot wait for more games set in this universe.

Belle surprise Un jeu très prenant, très bien écrit. Quelques puzzles de point n click mais rien de trop alambiqué. L'histoire et le petit groupe de personnage sont très attachants. Attention cependant le jeu est intégralement en anglais et il n'y a qu'une tradition écrite par la communauté (donc à patcher par ailleurs) pour avoir le texte en français.

It took me 12 hours to beat Rosewater. It’s a point-and-click adventure, but it constantly feels like an RPG: you manage a party, juggle episodic quests while chasing a bigger goal, and deal with (seemingly) random encounters, as if the DM were rolling on a random encounter table. The lively opening hooked me right away. Honestly, though, the sheer number of party members early on overwhelmed me a bit. I kept mixing up Phil and Danny; it takes a while for them to really find their footing and become distinct characters. The episodes are a bit hit-or-miss. Sometimes you’re helping a theater troupe pull off a play, other times you’re helping a sea captain process the trauma of his lost crew or guiding an orthodox congregation back to their moral compass. Some of them made me smile, others genuinely moved me, and only a few felt like tedious point-and-click busywork. The voice acting is very convincing, even if you can tell some actors doubled up on roles. The art is lavish and packed with lovely details. There’s always something to notice, like the water animations in the harbor, the flags waving in the wind, or the close-ups on characters during dramatic beats. The soundtrack works well, too. It’s a mix of CC-licensed music (well-curated) and some excellent original tracks (this is where the music really shines). I had a great 12 hours with it, and a lot of scenes stayed with me. It drags a little toward the end, and the main plot feels secondary to the better individual episodes (it’s just a bit too traditional). All in all, a lovely game I’d definitely want to replay in a few years.
