A simple game, you run and smash objects with the ball for a while

Warning: Asset Flip!
ROOM FOOTBALL - Sun Shrine is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Azerbaijan Technology/Top Down Games, took the Sun Temple Unity Store game assets from the real developers, Sandro T, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. It gets worse... "Sun Temple" has already been shamelessly dumped on Steam by Hede under one of his fake Russian accounts:

"3D PUZZLE - Sun Temple"
Take a look for yourself... these are all exactly the same asset! Because this is an almost exact 1:1 copy + paste of the original Unity asset, it's in violation of the Unity Asset Store Terms of Service and EULA. Specifically, Section 2, Subsection 2.2.1a:
Subject to the restrictions set forth in this EULA, Licensor hereby grants to the END-USER a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, and perpetual license to the Asset solely:(a) to incorporate the Asset, together with substantial, original content not obtained through the Unity Asset Store, into an electronic application or digital media that has a purpose, features, and functions beyond the display, performance, distribution, or use of Assets ("Licensed Product") as an embedded component of that Licensed Product, such that the Asset does not comprise a substantial portion of the Licensed Product
Because the developer misused the asset pack such that it comprises the vast majority of this "game", the developer has unethically and deliberately breached the license agreement. Worse, this intellectual property violation was done in an attempt to profit from their illicit actions. Why is this permitted on Steam? Azerbaijan Technology/Top Down Games has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Sun Temple" is just a Unity asset pack containing a south american temple scene, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game. It's just a minimum viable product, just enough to get through the non-existent quality control on Steam Direct. Not a real game.
Warning: Review Manipulation! This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Due to the 2024 FTC ruling (16 CFR Part 465), these fake reviews are a violation of US Federal Law.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this fake game is to be expected. ROOM FOOTBALL - Sun Shrine has the completely insane price of $200 USD, which is incredibly suspicious, higher than AAA pricing for an asset flip shovelware scam game. Why would the "developer" put such a high price tag on an asset flip with no true value as a game? There's no direct proof for this, but it's entirely possible this game is priced this way for money laundering or other criminal purposes. Higher prices allow more money to move with fewer transactions. Valve have previously banned developers for running money laundering scams. While there's no direct evidence in this case, it's highly suspicious and gamers should be wary.

ROOM FOOTBALL – Sun Shrine is a quirky, physics-driven arcade experience that distills its concept down to something immediately understandable: you are placed in a 3D environment, handed a football, and tasked with locating and destroying a series of glowing targets scattered around the map. It is a game built on simplicity and clarity, and that is precisely where much of its charm lies. Instead of elaborate systems or layered mechanics, the game leans entirely on the tactile pleasure of aiming, kicking, and watching the ball carve an arc through the air until it crashes satisfyingly into an object. The premise feels almost like a playful experiment—what if football were less a sport and more a demolition tool?—and the result is a title that embraces its oddball identity wholeheartedly. The visuals reflect this deliberate minimalism. Sun Shrine’s environments are clean and uncluttered, composed of simple 3D structures arranged to support the physics gameplay rather than to dazzle with detail. The glowing red beams that mark the targets stand out starkly against these environments, making it easy to identify objectives and focus entirely on execution. The stripped-down aesthetic actually works in the game’s favor, removing visual noise so trajectory reading becomes intuitive. Even the ball physics, while not striving for strict realism, provide enough weight and momentum to make each kick feel distinct. A gentle strike bounces lightly along a floor, while a powerful, well-angled kick sends the ball soaring before it ricochets satisfyingly off walls or pillars. The gameplay loop is structured around finding the best angles, learning the environment’s geometry, and mastering the subtle timing and power control needed to land consistent shots. Every map becomes a small puzzle, with the player experimenting to determine whether to bank shots off surfaces, aim directly, or reposition entirely for a more efficient path. The timed scoring system reinforces this mentality: it’s not just about destroying all targets, but doing so with speed and precision. This encourages repeated attempts, as each run presents an opportunity to shave off seconds, refine your technique, and discover new routes. Players who enjoy physics-based challenges or time-attack puzzles will find this loop engaging and potentially addictive. However, the game’s minimalism comes with limitations that will be noticeable depending on the player’s expectations. Since the objective never changes beyond “destroy all marked objects as quickly as you can,” the long-term variety is modest. Once you understand the basic mechanics and memorize the layout of a level, much of the challenge becomes about optimization rather than discovery. For some players, this is a rewarding process—an invitation to treat each level as a track to master. For others, the lack of expanding mechanics, unlockables, or narrative context may cause the novelty to fade quickly. The game does not try to evolve its systems over time, and anyone looking for progression beyond personal skill improvement may find the experience too shallow. The physics, which serve as the primary draw, can also occasionally become the source of frustration. Because ball movement depends on momentum, surface angles, and collision detection, there will be moments when a nearly perfect shot bounces just a hair off course or loses enough speed to fall short of a target. These moments contribute to the game’s unpredictable charm but can test the patience of players hoping for razor-sharp consistency. Over time, mastering these quirks becomes part of the experience, but the learning curve is not always forgiving. Despite its modest scope, ROOM FOOTBALL – Sun Shrine succeeds at delivering what it sets out to offer: a compact, easy-to-grasp, physics-based challenge built around simple ideas executed cleanly. It is not trying to compete with full-scale puzzle games or intricate action titles. Instead, it positions itself as a short, satisfying diversion—something you can pick up for a few minutes at a time, enjoy a handful of attempts, and walk away from with the sense of having honed a small skill. The positive early impressions from players suggest that, for those who appreciate experimentation and physics-driven play, the game hits its intended target. Ultimately, Sun Shrine is best suited to players who enjoy lightweight arcade concepts, physics puzzles, and time-based challenges. It offers an enjoyable feedback loop, a clean presentation, and a playful spirit that makes each successful hit feel rewarding. If you go in expecting a low-pressure, skill-focused experience rather than a deeply layered or long-form game, you will likely find ROOM FOOTBALL – Sun Shrine a charming and entertaining way to spend short bursts of gaming time. Rating:6/10
A great game that develops useful skills. You won't be aiming at a goal, but at specific targets. You'll need to calculate the power of your shot and hit the target to win!
My city football team constantly loses all the games. I will recommend this game to them, let them practice. Maybe they will start playing better!
