About
Rebuild civilization in this action-adventure survival game for 1-8 players. Fight hordes of the walking dead, build settlements, restore the Roman gods... or kick back and farm with friends.
In Romestead, the dead walk at night and the gods have gone silent. Explore, gather, build, and slowly turn a camp into a working settlement.

Romestead scales in difficulty depending on how many players are in the world. Play solo or multiplayer with up to eight players. Host your own server or connect peer to peer.

Heavy resources are physical objects in the world. Gather rocks, ores, and logs, and carry them one at a time back to your town. Or make a cart train to haul them all at once. An enemy closing in? Chuck a boulder in its face.

Search the world for survivors to recruit as artisans, keep your people happy, and turn your towns into hubs for crafting, farming, and automated production. As you discover more biomes you can build more specialized settlements and even set up trade routes between them.

Make offerings and sacrifices to awaken the gods. Restore their connection to the world, earn their favor, and unlock technologies, buffs, and upgrades that will help you rebuild Rome.

The world of Romestead is procedurally generated and filled with handcrafted places and secrets. Explore unique dungeons filled with enemies and puzzles that reward you with gear, trinkets, citizens and more.

Epic bosses stand between you and a glorious empire. Gather your strength, upgrade your gear, and prepare to face them. Defeat the enemies of Rome and the gods will reward you.

Fantastic game - even though it is in early access there is plenty of content to get through to make it worth buying already. All the elements in the game are engaging, and none of them takes too much precedent over any other so you really can play however you like - the base building/upgrading, the raids, the dungeons, the exploring, the progression, the citizen loyalty levelling, the boss fights, the gear options/upgrades etc. The developers also seem keen to take on community feedback, and from what I've read they're planning to fix/add/change practically everything that feels like it's broken/missing/unfinished. The odd bug or clearly unfinished feature does not take away from the game at all. My only hope for this game is that it gets continual updates for years to come.
Valheim and Bellwright had a Roman baby that grew up with Stardew. Honestly surprised I only have 28 hours on this game. Played the demo and enjoyed it so much I bought the game for myself and my partner and played it the moment it released (which was my sisters bday....whoops). It does feel a little easier since the demo, but I've still enjoyed it a lot and am looking forward to the next updates. Automation is good, takes a bit to get there but it is very nice. What blew me away was the decorations in the game, I came across them super late in the game. There's so much thought and effort put in to them and I love it!

游戏前期确实不错玩,但玩到火山那里基本没意思了,越玩越无聊

This is not Early Access, in my day we would call this Alpha. Great concept but not at all fleshed out and should not be pushed on a consumer with hopeful intent. I think the idea is promising and the game has a potential future but as it stands its going to be nothing but disappointing to a large percentage of gamers. Im not going to request a refund because i believe in this developer creating a full game experience and hopefully every dollar they earn can help them get closer to that goal. Its a promising game from some people who know what they are doing with these genres so buy now if you want to watch it grow and support the Dev Team.
God... this game is one of those games where the beautiful pixel graphics do a fantastic job of making a rough experience look far better than it actually is. The art is genuinely great, but it can't hide the fact that this game feels unfinished, clunky, and nowhere near worth its $14 price tag right now. The biggest issue is just how unpolished everything feels. Bugs are everywhere. Objects glitch out, systems don't always work properly, and even basic building actions can become frustrating because clicks don't register consistently. There were times where removing or placing things felt like I was fighting the interface more than actually playing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Movement and combat aren't much better. Half the challenge comes from getting caught on terrain, awkward pathing, or environmental objects rather than dealing with enemies themselves. Exploration eventually turns into a marathon of running across huge distances, revisiting similar-looking locations, and hoping you stumble into whatever item or quest trigger the game wants next. Progression is also confusing and poorly balanced. You'll unlock research options and buildings long before you can actually use them, while quests often provide little direction on how to continue. The settlement-building side feels surprisingly shallow too. Many systems seem underdeveloped, building options are limited, and what should be a major feature often feels like an afterthought. What frustrates me most is that this game clearly needed more time in the oven. It feels like players are being asked to pay to beta test an unfinished product while dealing with a mountain of bugs and design issues. The phrase "it has potential" gets thrown around a lot, but potential isn't what you're buying—you're buying the game as it exists today. And today, Romestead feels like an early-access project that accidentally wandered into a full release. The pixel art is lovely, but that's not enough to justify the price or the current state of the game.
контента мало разнообразия билдостроения мало душка с городом ужасная, 80% игры работаешь шнырькурьером, пока город сам не будет себя обеспечивать скелетов с замедлением рот ♥♥♥♥
not nearly enough to do and game is unbalanced and unoptimized
