About
About ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN
Take control of the protagonist Romeo Stargazer in this third person singleplayer action adventure, split into various chapters. His story is both unpredictable and littered with intense battles, interspersed with side missions to suit the player's pace.
A story that transcends space-time
This game's story starts with space-time itself being shattered by a certain incident. Romeo, too, on the brink of life and death finds himself revived by a new kind of super technology. Thus he is recruited for the FBI's Space-Time Police as a special agent, and wanders the cosmos in search of criminals who've taken advantage of the situation at hand in an attempt to bring justice back to the universe. At the same time, he looks for clues concerning his missing girlfriend Juliet, and quickly comes to find both her disappearance and the destruction of space may be more linked than he thought. Donning the mask called Deadgear, what awaits Romeo at the edges of space-time?
Fight blood with blood
Romeo switches between swords and guns to fight. Wipe out the waves of enemies that stand in your path to give birth to a new kind of bloody action, and take down the fearsome space-time criminals that await. Absorb the blood of your enemies to unleash Romeo's special attack: Bloody Summer, capable of turning any situation around. Romeo's various weapons can be strengthened and altered as the story moves forward as he takes on even stronger enemies.

Everyone talking about the creativity, I'm just flabbergasted to see UI that respects my time in this day and age. Suda is child of prophecy indeed. Tho I have to mention this: optimization is genuinely ass as of now. I'm talking intercontinental levels of butt. I don't think it's even possible to get a playable framerate if your PC is on the potato side, mine usually handles everything ok and I had to play some fights solely by ultra instinct when there was too much particles or awe-provoking stuff on screen, such as foliage and water splashes.

第五章做的什么玩意,老须自己玩过没啊,游戏性远不如以前。
I thoroughly enjoyed Romeo is a Dead Man, most likely due to the fact that Ren Yamazaki directed this one and not Suda51 (stick to writing buddy). In a nutshell, Romeo is a Deadman feels like No More Heroes with all of the fluff removed and mechanics improved. Deathblows are on-demand now in the form of the Bloody Summer special attack. There's 4 melee weapons and 4 guns to mix and match to suit your playstyle. The skill system from Travis Strikes Again returns in the form of Bastards, which is probably my favorite aspect of this game. The curry katsu system is fun. The Deadgear Cannonball is fun. This game is just fun, and that's what games should be.
Imagine if Kojima's crazy side and Sam Lake's confusing side had a child. This child consumes every conceivable drug in the world and develops a game. Romeo is a Deadman would be the result. Just kidding. This game has so much style, and everything seems to have meaning. The colors, the sound, everything seems like part of an overall concept. However, it's not always easy to follow the action. Definitely recommended for anyone who's tired of generic games.
Добра! Дзякуй Suda51/Grasshopper
最高难度最后一关谁爱玩谁玩🤡
Suda51 once again delivers with his incomprehensible vision in this baffling and hilarious time and space faring coming of age story, with a soundtrack I'm already arguing is the best soundtrack of the year to boot. Having played killer7, NMH, and other Suda games, I can say that if you are a fan of his other works, this game is for you and you know what to expect. If you haven't but are curious, Romeo is a Dead Man is a fantastic starting point. Go in expecting the gameplay to be a little rough and to barely understand what the hell is going on, but stay for the presentation and Suda51's incredible theming, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. VAGUE SPOILERS BELOW One of Suda's best stories to date, RiaDM captures the essence of youth, naivete, and blind love that hits close to home for me, followed by maturation into adulthood and learning to grow on your own rather than chase some ideal you have of love that may not even be true. Watching Romeo over the course of the game as he grew up, both physically AND mentally, is one of my favorite experiences in a Suda game. Excited for what Suda and Grasshopper have next.
10/10 sanat, combat eğlenceli, hikaye absürt ama tek kötü tarafı unreal engine ile gelen berbat optimizasyon
人类还没准备好迎接SUDA51,但是人类确实需要SUDA51
