Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great, very faithful remake of an all-time classic JRPG. Whether you have nostalgia for the Super Famicom version or not, anyone who likes the genre should give this a try.
Romancing saga 2 is an absolute classic, and this remake remains faithful to the source material while also building upon the formula and strengthening what was already there. My favourite guys are the Salamander, great guys~

Unique and ambitious remake of a classic game! I expect no less from the developer of Trials of Mana. Pro: 1. Colorful and wide range of classes with interesting backgrounds and playstyles. Mixing different combinations of combat group is fun. 2. Hot female characters as usual. Cat, Mermaid, Iris, Ninja... Even normal soldiers are well modeled. 3. Expanded on the great overall game feel from Trails of Mana. The game world is much bigger too. 4. Though childish, the story of emperor is well told, including partnerships and trade-offs among various parties and races. I can imagine this serves as a inspiration for some kids' interest in real world geography and history. Con: 1. Too many obscure mechanisms that can ruin a playthrough without player's notice. 2. Training and farming grinds too much, waste too much time. 3. Auto equip feature is broken, need to manually equip characters constantly which is a huge chore. The cons are overall bearable, but could be improved nonetheless. Hate to make this comparison, but this game is like Star Rail to Genshin Impact.
After playing so many JRPGs eventually the mechanics and new systems they employ becomes the most interesting thing to you. The story is pretty good but I want to focus on the systems in this I think are interesting. RS2's main feature that's interesting is that the MC is the emperor of a kingdom and after main story beats time jumps forward a hundred years or so and you pick a new MC to be the emperor so it's like you're playing a long line of succession. There's a permadeath system that encourages you to change people and play around with team builds. There's abilities you can unlock and pass onto other characters so there's a lot of customization. The gear system is pretty good. Whatever equipment you use is what you get stronger in and you can equip any skills that match whatever equipment you have so you can build in lots of ways with whatever character. You can do the same with magic as well. And your MC will have certain strengths depending on who you choose so you're not always running the same build. You unlock buildings in your capital city by conquering new territories and beating major bosses which is cool cuz it feels like you're growing your kingdom and having a hand in its development. Also, just the roleplay of being the emperor is cool compared to the usual unknown adventurer making friends. Like in one scene you just show up and demand these pirates help you and they're like, "are you the emperor? oh crap okay well we have no choice then." And then in battles there's weaknesses and stuff that you find through trial & error like octopath but also the enemies are positioned on the field so you can use AOE attacks and stuff. The battle system isn't super groundbreaking but it's better than just normal turn-based. Overall the game starts a little weak but there's a lot of cool systems to explore and the story does ramp up to be pretty interesting. Character designs are good too.
