Unplayable as a female Drac. After meeting Medusa, and done doing the golden hour. You're suppose to leave the area, heading to dining area. Game crashes right as you try to leave the room, trying to progress in the game. Sounds are entirely off balance, you can't skip cutscreens. Changing the settings does nothing to fix issues either. Volume for voice is on 10, yet characters are loud as a 90 in your ear. My comp specs are more than double amount to handle this game in ultra, yet seeing folks having 2023 crashes, including the ones I'm having in 2025. I guess this game got left in the dust, never to be looked at. Waste of 9 bucks. Watched a streamer play it, he was default male Drac, so he got far into the game. It's hilarious and fun but you can't pick another gender. If you play this game, stick to default male Drac. Only way to not crash in this game. I'll see about picking this back up much later or hopefully get a refund. Having to restart my computer thru pressing start key as the only way to exit out of a crashed game, is frustrating itself. Task manager can't even stop it. Huge disappointment.
I desperately want to like this game, but four crashes in an hour is crazy. Read the reviews before buying. This game is notorious for crashing, and with no autosave mechanic, you have to go back and replay chunks of the game.
Seems very cheeky and fun. But I couldn't figure out how to save and after 45 minutes it locked up and I lost all my progress. Don't really feel like replaying from the beginning. Auto save would have been recommended.
it was so fun when it wasn't crashing and deleting my save. Does not work on the steam deck.
It drags on forever. In an oldschool way, you really have to figure thing out yourself. Although the art and voice acting is great, the characters feel flat and quite boring. So many times you are forced to just go somewhere and back, repeatedly. I did not anticipate the plot-twist, but the resolution felt flat. Oh and you are forced to sit through everything (I managed to make my dinner, clean the flat and watch a youtube documentary during the credits; and the controls do not always work to make it faster.) It is also very buggy, still. You have to endure playing as male Drac for the beginning. The gift giving is a bit hidden. Based on the art, promo, description, I expected completely different kind of game. Aside from (bad) flirting, there isn't really a romance. For people who want to enjoy a light (very american) comedy with keysmashing, I think this could be a great fit. For me, it was just... not fun at all.
The game was really fun! However, I did encounter a TON of bugs. Such as the game crashing or freezing, but the most common bugs I experienced were being stuck slowed after being hit enough times with an element damage, being completely cornered and glitched if enemies are coming from multiple sides, the jump and attacking mechanic, brocifier's area being open or closed constantly after getting rid of him, and lastly the talk button appearing but not working. All of these while frustrating did not really take away from the overall game. A few nitpicky things I had SPOILERS: the fact that the big reveal doesn't make sense because the characters will reference characters that were meant to be dead just kinda took away from the overall story aspect for me, i would have liked more character interactions I feel like some of them you kinda just had to get rid of and never got to know or their stories weren't explored too much(like why didn't everyone have an extra quest at the end) I didn't realized you had to eliminate characters I would have just liked to explore them better before getting rid of them which is where the replayablity comes in but I prefer to do as much as I can in one play through, the fact that after the last golden hour, if you upgrade their relationship you can't go back to ask them those extra questions probably my fault here but still upset me, some of their portraits literally didn't fit at all into the scenes, the van helsing's weren't voice acted why not have one female and one male voice lines for the three of them, and there are spots on the map that looked unfinished or like they were special areas that you couldn't access I am still kinda confused on some of it maybe I just didn't unlock it idk. While I know I put a lot of negatives, this is my honest review and I still recommend this game! it was fun, the art and voice acting is great. The areas look really cool and most areas are pretty straight forward and obvious on how you unlock areas. This is one of those games, where it may have its cons and flaws, but i still had fun. I think you just have to have the patience to play it and not take it too seriously.
I loved this game. Stupid punny jokes and pokes fun at reality tv. This game was creative and felt like it was someone's labor of love.
This was FUN. It was spicy in all the right ways, the voice acting was really well done, and it was a good mix of challenge and story at the recommended setting. If there's anything I was a bit meh about it was the length of time for the credits. Totally appreciate listing ALL the Kickstarter backers (of which I was one), but I actually force-closed the game after about 30min of credits and they STILL weren't done. That's a bit much for me. But if that's my only real gripe, I'll take it. It was 15hrs for one play through, and that was with going back to a save point to see at least two of the romances at the very end selection--at least for their personal dialog. In my opinion, 15hrs is a really good amount of time for the price of this game. No regrets with this one, definitely give it a shot if you need some fairly NSFW fun in your life, without it actually being as involved as a smutty romance novel.
I loved this game! It honestly screams indie with the 3D models and animations, but really, it just adds to the charm! The writing is funny, the voice acting is nice, the 2D art is great, and I love the cast of characters and how each one feels unique! Here's the thing though, I play romance games for a romance plot and not much else, so obviously, I'm a bit biased, but I didn't enjoy the metroidvania-style gameplay? It felt more like a chore I had to do to get to the good bits. That may be because it felt a bit stiff? But I found it bearable for the writing and setting, especially since I set it to the easiest difficulty because I don't play games for a challenge or to rage. I just like unwinding. I also found it weird you couldn't choose to be female drac till after the reality TV show started? Just a very strange choice. I assume it must be because she was added on later in development, but it felt like my Drac just transitioned. WHICH IS FUNNY! I kind of love it, seeing as I'm MtF myself, ha! All-in-all, excellent game! Good fun! I love a good monster-themed IP, and this really delivered! I especially have a soft spot for werewolves, and I loved Fenton! Though I wish his other, meaner human side was explored a bit more. Recommend if you're a fan of dating monsters! Can't speak on the metroidvania parts though...
Regret supporting this on KS, as is the case with many games. It's JANKY, and certainly not worth the price. Maybe you can entertain it at a very steep discount, but the game is so ugly that even then it probably isn't worth it.
