Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 8.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
From the creators of Black Mesa: When the richest CEO on Earth dies, cutthroat conglomerates seek to carve up his kingdom. Using the MERX app, rival tycoons can order private mercenary armies as easily as takeout, making them perfect soldiers for the corporate war! Only Rogue Point, an elite vigilante squad, dares to fight back.

Dive into an adrenaline-fueled campaign where explosive co-op firefights meet strategic planning. Team up, gather intel, complete objectives, and battle through dynamic missions. Earn skills and upgrade weapons to confront the 5 Star Mercenaries, lethal contractors who will test the limits of your team.

Each MERX class has their own AI playstyle that packs a punch in their own unique way.
Not to be underestimated, the soldier is the workhorse of the MERX squads. Soldiers will utilize their environment and work with other squad units to challenge Rogue Point head-on.
Juiced up on substances and with no regard for their own life, the Berserker's singular goal is to close the distance and slice your whole team with a machete. They are agents of chaos and will wreck your carefully crafted game plan.
Heavily fortified in the far distance, snipers will pin your team down and deny you entry into important areas. Their only tell is the laser beam from their gun, and your teammate’s head exploding next to you.
Quick-footed and fast-talking, the Lookout disrupts your squad with flashbangs and relentless hit-and-run tactics.
Heavies are big, slow brutes that don’t take cover and eat bullets. You can dump all your ammo into them with no effect. Run the other way, or find their one weakness.
These legendary MERX have received the top-tier 5-star rating in the app. They should be approached with caution and treated as extremely dangerous to you and your team. Intel on these MERX is sketchy, but we know that these endgame encounters will require your team’s full strength to have a chance to take them down.

Rogue Point is easy to learn and hard to master, perfect for both fresh recruits and seasoned veterans. Crave fast-paced action? How about slow, methodical, skill-driven gameplay? Rogue Point kicks open the door to both those worlds and invites players to choose their own playstyle.

Even though the game does not really feel 1.0 I am having a blast with it and its faar more polished than I thought Its a good mix of ready or not, terrorist hunt and sometimes It also gives me a payday vibe that feels accesible and very replayable. My main issues are performance which in general is decent but when there are lots of enemies at the same time the game suffers, and enemy AI needs more work cause they just move from one side to othe but they dont seem to be very intelligent. Still, this game is really fun and I really recommend it. I look forward to see what the devs are cooking for future updates.
schade das es nur noch ein moneygrab wurde.

Lots of cool gadgets and mechanics, but the gameplay just isn't very fun. Played during free weekend.
Shot the HVT with 25+ GL explosive rounds (used ammo box) and used all my Deagle ammo and 6 landmines and he still wasnt dead. WTF is the balance of this game?
It's definitely light in terms of content, and kind of in the replay value department, which is certainly odd considering how important the two are for a game like this. But it does have potential, and it is pretty fun to play through. I don't know how it's scaled, and it could very well be a skill issue on my end. Maybe I was just too early in the game to be doing solo runs. But it feels kind of impossible to play solo. The berserker enemies are especially a source of frustration, as while they do have very audible callouts to warn you that they're near. Sometimes those just don't play and one can catch you while you're trying to heal. And combat in general just feels a bit annoying, with enemies feeling a tad tanky after the first few missions and the lack of feedback when shooting them. The closest you get to that is knocking off the helmet of a heavy, which knocks him down. That, and the enemies in this game have a horrid tendency to rush you down and get in your face, which is problematic considering it feels like your shots go straight through them if they're too close, but they have no problems shooting you. And the melee is pathetic and hardly does any damage. I also feel shotguns are a little underpowered. They're great for berserkers and in the early game, but it feels like you're just crippling yourself by doing so. I don't think they should be able to one-tap EVERY single enemy. At the very least, I'd like them to be able to stagger or knock down armored grunts with close-range shots to make up for how bad they are against armor. Again, the content in this game is very light. There's a decent selection of guns, but variety in enemies and maps are just so low. There's like four different maps available, at the very least I feel like they could've just added weather conditions and different times to spice things up a little more.. And the only enemies you fight are these goons who look like they walked out of a rave with all the glowy paint and gadgets attached to their bodies. I can understand they probably did this for better visibility, but I also wish they just trusted their players to have working eyes. And whenever you start a new run, you get this little team image for some reason on the side and it gave me the impression that I was going to fight different factions. Maybe I'll go up against different groups with different tech and strategies. But... no. Just the goons. Cosmetic customization is pretty decent. For guns, it's just paintjobs. For your character, there's a pretty good selection, I hope that gets expanded on. However you all look and sound the same. No different heads/voices, no gender options. Just a smidgen lame. I hope you like your player character's voice actor, you'll be hearing him a lot... no seriously, I think he even voices some of the grunts. Which understandably might be a little confusing. What I find most interesting about the game, is that on the surface it kinda looks like a tactical shooter. Not a full-on milsim, maybe. But tactical. And it... kind of is? You can definitely play it like that if you want to. You have all the tools for it, too. But there's nothing stopping you from running and gunning and playing it like Call of Duty. The tactical side can just be completely sidelined and that's pretty much how every match went when I played with randoms. Personally, I would like it to be slowed down a little to better emphasis the tactical part of this game... but the enemies themselves behave and play like something right out of Call of Duty, so maybe that's for the best. Speaking of tactical, this game DOES have stealth. And it even rewards you for using non-lethal gear to take down enemies! It sucks to do, and it's not at all important to do, but you can if you really need cash in a run. The stealth is nothing special, and the enemies aren't really smart. I'd say the stealth in this game is pretty generous, considering that shooting an unsilenced gun doesn't wake up the entire map. But if you get spotted, every enemy in the vicinity immediately locks onto you. The game's performance is pretty solid... except for that one time. And I had only one bug where the lift on Oil Rig was closed for one player after being opened, and another could hit the button and just teleport to the top instantly without the full team. I don't know what happened with the game initially, probably released in a pretty poor state, had zero marketing and lost a majority of its playerbase. And that's pretty sad, I think the game is cool and quite fun, even. I hope CC keeps working on the game and adding more content. I think they need to make more of an active effort to put themselves in the spotlight and bring more people into the game, because frankly I have no idea how many people even know this game exists. I only guessed that this game might be failing due to lack of marketing because... surprise surprise, I've only ever heard of the game when I just stumbled upon it while browsing Steam. So... I hope they do that, too.
What a wasted potential
ROGUE POINT, REVIEW OF REVIEWS: I bought the game a while ago and just last night talked to a clan mate about playing the game. Now, I'm seeing all the negative reviews coming out after the 1.0 release. In the end, Is it worth the money and playtime? It depends on what you are looking for in a game. I mean, review numbers 5 and 6 (seen below) are actually positives in my perspective. Overall, if you can grab it at a discount (I remember paying $18 it is 50% off right now) and treat it as a casual, brain-dead arcade co-op shooter to mess around in with friends, it can be a lot of fun. =============================== There is actual merit to the negative reviews, and the backlash isn't just typical internet whining. The surge in negative reviews stems from a very specific and controversial decision regarding how the game was launched. The most common complaints on the Rogue Point Steam Page focus on several core issues: 1. The Rushed "Version 1.0" Launch (The Biggest Issue) 2. The game was in Early Access for only a few months before the developers suddenly pushed it to a full Version 1.0 launch on August 4, 2026.Skipping Ahead: Players note that the game abruptly jumped from version 0.6 straight to 1.0. 3. It feels abandoned or a soulless "cash grab." The community feels the release was rushed out by management, leaving the game feeling bare-bones (with only 5 maps and 2 bosses). 4. Feels like the Devs are stepping away. Rumors and developer statements in the Steam Community Forums indicate that Crowbar Collective is mostly finished with active development and plans to hand future content over to fan/mod development, which many buyers interpret as the project being abandoned. 5.. There's an identity crisis in gameplay. The game tries to blend two opposing genres, resulting in design conflict. It features the tactical mechanics of a slow-paced shooter (like Ready or Not, complete with door-peeking, leaning, and camera gadgets), but pairs it with the chaotic enemy-spam and fast movement of a horde shooter (like Payday). 6. Players find that utilizing careful tactical planning is useless because the game heavily pressures you to run-and-gun through waves of highly accurate "bullet sponge" enemies. 7. The shallow rogue-like mechanics for a game billing itself as a "tactical rogue-lite," the progression elements can feel underwhelming. 8. The upgrade system relies heavily on flat, uninspired percentage boosts (e.g., +5% health or armor) rather than interesting, run-altering skills. Soooo, if you are looking for a deeply strategic, highly polished tactical shooter that will receive years of active developer support, the negative reviews are warning you that this isn't that game.
apparently used to be good update ruined the game balancing and made all kinds of bugs. melee is now overwhelmingly hard to deal with especially the armored ones. extraction is damn near impossible on high difficulty because your are spammed with unlimited enemies and horrible cover. when you crouch despite seeing over the cover you can not shoot over it as your guy refuses to aim the barrel of the gun (where the bullets come from in this game) over the cover so all your ammo goes into the cover your trying to partially conceal yourself behind. if you wanna shoot over that cover you have to stand up and expose your whole center mass to the enemy and take a ton of damage.
