Muito divertido e gostoso de jogar! Recomendo!.
good game 玩起来很爽。
Great Metroidvania with tight platforming mechanics. The inclusion of the rocket pack adds an interesting challenge and dynamic to the platforming without feeling like it's an artificial add on. The combat and weapons seem to play homage to Contra games, but the sense of progression and development with the weapons and your skills is fully within the Metroidvania universe.
Was alright, closer to a 5~6/10, so I'm willing to give this a thumb up. The game is actually SLOW, and a bit clunky, and somehow require you to use precious upgrade to increase your movement speed, which is not good. The weapon damage system is actually not great to be honest. Weapon break pretty easy, so it forced you to try to play perfectly, else you will spend a lot of time trying to recover the weapon. Some weapon take one hit to break, and a full "health recover" you get from a single boss wont even be enough to repair it. The aiming system can be a bit frustrating, though you have weapon that can deal with most of it, so for me it is a-ok. Other than those points listed above, you can say it is still quite a solid retro style game that give me a few fun hours. (somehow, the boss before the last is WAY easier than the final boss. In fact, the final boss is easier than some of the earlier bosses as well, which is odd). OH, though, don't expect any story in the game, cause other than the starting sequence, almost all the story related conversations are broken and will either display empty dialog box or repeat a single line with no info.
Fun little Metroidvania, definitely recommend. I'm about 60% thru in 3 hours so I'll prob be done in another 2 hours or so. This game plays slightly awkwardly on controller as aiming is tied to the movement stick (LS). I've bound firing to RT, jump to the bottom face button and boost to the right one. Cycling left/right thru weapons on the left and top face buttons (LB and RB would have worked too). This game was probably made with mouse and keyboard in mind which probably explains the controls but it's something you get used to. Another oddity is the max resolution. Don't expect to fill a 1080p screen as it max's out at whatever the 16:10-720p resolution is. Not a deal breaker either. This game is literally what you see in the previews and it's fun blasting thru enemies and navigating environmental puzzles while searching for hidden paths. You know, standard Vania stuff. Edit - Finished game with in game clock saying I took 4hrs 15mins with 86% items and 91% map. Given the lack of detail on maps and the inability to select which biome to look at there's not much incentive to do cleanup. Still had fun with what the game had on offer.
