If you need Cyrillic letter achievements, this game is for you. If you want to play platformer this game is terrible. Sometimes it works, sometimes it just stops running. No save game function.

The game crashed but the "here, have an achievement" that increments every couple of seconds kept going. Achievement exploits aside, the game is almost non-existent. Clear abuse of Steam's systems like this is probably why a lot of less popular games can't be put on your profile or count towards achievements anymore.

How this achievement spam is still on Steam stores is beyond me ... you don't even need to interact in the game, just let it run and 'boom' easy 100% in an hour. That makes the purpose of playing utterly useless. Tbf I wouldn't have played more than 10 minutes of this cheap, 2bit platformer game anyways. The goal is dull and repetitive, in that you always have to collect the fruits and (optional) stars. Enemies are also repeated in almost every level, there's no real change or increase in challenge. It's graphics are the only the thing decent, and by decent I mean mediocre at best. I've seen platformer games made from Adobe flash that looked better than this. I'm disappointed in Mr.Jezko and just can't vouche for this game at all, not to anyone. There are way better, more engaging 2D adventure games on Steam that are free too.

Mr.Jezko is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one is from a known Russian asset flipper, but in this case it seems the art assets at least are genuine (because they look terrible). Of course, this is just a skin on a basic Unity platfomer template... very little effort has gone into making this shovelware platformer with no real serious value or merit as a real PC game. EasyGames have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. This is a very basic platformer, simpler than Super Mario Bros, where you just jump over gaps/obstacles and collect fruit on each of the small levels. Even amongst platformers, this is one of the worst. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The controls and game handling are notably very floaty and imprecise. It's janky and unsatisfying to play... and any experienced gamer will tell you, the handling, responsiveness and general gameplay feel of the control scheme must be well polished for this kind of game to succeed. Unfortunately, this is something the developer seems to have phoned in, with little to no apparent gameplay testing or polish done. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The game never really caught on with the millions of gamers on Steam, with a very low peak player count close to launch, and then just a handful of players launching this game every couple of days. This is undoubtedly caused by factors such as those raised in this review. It's always helpful with buying decisions to consider how popular and successful the product is, and unfortunately while this did accumulate a few participation trophy reviews, overall, people just aren't using it. One of the driving elements of this shovelware game is "achievement spam", that is to say the game features a ridiculously large number of trivial/automatically granted achievements, 1113 of them, in fact. It's a damning indictment for this shovelware that people only bought it for easy achievements, and not because it has any serious merit as a real game. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Mr.Jezko has the laughable, eye-watering price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
