RoboCop: Rogue City

映画のロボコップを数回見た程度の知識しかないです。 細かい部分は分かりませんが、まさにロボコップって感じです。 移動速度がもっと早いといいな。

I’m playing this in place of Terminator Survivors.

This game definitely understands the assignment. A few technical issues hold it back from being really great, but it's a fun game with a campaign of reasonable length.

RoboCop is one of my favorite movies ever. I love second movie as well but everything else - both TV shows, animated show, reboot and third movie, all of it is mainly trash. This game, tho - it's complicated. [b][u]PROS:[/u][/b][i] + RoboCop! + Auto 9 carnage + atmosphere + it can look cool at times + Peter Weller is back as Robo's voice + slight RPG elements[/i] [b][u]CONS:[/u][/b][i] - story has couple of cool ideas but it's mostly a boring generic mess - script is no better - animations are atrocious - weird visual and audio bugs, glitches - UE5 and occasional stutter that comes with it - traversal is nightmarishly slow, but again - you can't just expect RoboCop to start running all of a sudden, I don't know[/i] --- While I do recommend the game I advise you to just "run" and gun, because the game will waste your time with slow wonky awkward cutscenes, slow wonky awkward dialog screens, Robocop's slow pace of walking and pointless side and main missions. If you start "exploring" you'll soon find out that most of the areas are empty and you just wasted time. You have dash but it's mostly useless. All that adds up over time to turn the game into slog and you'll can't wait for it to just be over. There is a decent amount of weapons however I mained Auto 9 because it was just the most satisfying, soul soothing gun to use and it's also your main weapon with infinite ammo so you can dismember all the criminal scum. There are upgrades for Auto 9, they can help a lot, however be careful when merging chips for it, you can railroad yourself by making a bunch of wrong chips. You also get XP to upgrade your skills which add some passive perks. Story and script are not... good. To make it even dumber, audio is out of whack in most cutscenes or dialog screens, as is "camera" focus, which makes the whole thing very janky looking. While RoboCop and all the robots look amazing, people look like 4-5 hot dogs hand cuffed together and awkward animations do not help. It's a wild spectrum of quality on all levels in the game. I was planning to play Unfinished Business expansion after this and Teyon's Terminator game but after this, I just can't, maybe some other time, I have to play something, anything else. It was a long way for Teyon, from ridiculous Rambo on-rails fps shooter to this. While not so polished and with a noticeable amount of jank, I still recommend the game because there is a great RoboCop game in there somewhere and it's just good enough so you can play it and enjoy it. Everything kinda works, it's just also a bit disjointed all over the place. I hope they make another one some day, with all they learned from this game into something even better.

После прохождения игры забыл написать отзыв. Решил написать после прохождения дополнения к Робокопу. Конечно ностальгическая игра, для тех конечно кто вырос на фильмах 90-х, с лучшим кассетным переводом и атмосферы боевиков где киборги и терминаторы только начали появляться. Сюжет, второстепенные миссии, атмосфера мрачного будущего с корпорациями и бедностью людей и бандами отморозков. Главный герой наш любимый Робот, который и сам не понял что попал в "клетку дредноута" где долг заканчивается лишь после смерти. Но при этом он никогда не забывает что он все еще полицейский. Графика неплохая, стрельба из оружия ощущается, присутствуют роботы и боссы, все как в фильме. С учетом того, что сейчас выходит из игр, игра весьма неплохая. Атмосферы где процветает феминизм, геи, сопли и розовый цвет нет и это очень радует. В общем отличная ностальгическая стрелялка из детства, когда ты играл и радовался игре и вспоминал просмотренные фильмы из 90-х. Рекомендую к прохождению и покупке.
