I bought the game hoping for Faxanadu and got something more akin to Castlevania 1. A decent NES era throwback but not what I was hoping for. Not going to refund it, but know what you're buying.

If you love old 8 bit ''adventure'' games like FAXANADU then you will feel at home with this one, amazing graphics, really amazing music and best of all, a true ambiance to it. Keep in mind, this game is PROFILE LIMITED and won't appear in your showcase in case you want to brag about it.

If you catch it on sale and have 2 or 3 hours to kill this is a fun and simple old school side scroller worth playing especially if you got a soft spot for playing as barbarian warriors in a land of sword and sorcery.. Also pretty easy to get all achievements on your first play through.
Yet another faithful NES adventure platformer by SEEP. And a very well-made one at that. Not a pushover by any means, but always fair - which wasn´t always the case with games back then : ) I especially appreciate the lack of a timer and not hiding items in walls. Gotta love that! Even the slightly rough translation feels 100% NES authentic and adds to the charm. Those guys know exactly how to make good retro games : )
Great 8-bit nostalgia. If I'd been able to play this on my old Apple ][ I'd be a very happy boy. Sadly I couldn't get it to run on my Steam Deck or Steam Machine, despite trying multiple configurations and Proton compatibility settings. I can still run it on my PC, but not the same. It just freezes at the startup page.
