Baue das Römische Reich wieder auf! Die Provinzen wurden durch ein verheerendes Erdbeben verwüstet, dem eine gewaltige Flutwelle folgte. Der Sohn des Legaten Victorius hat nun die Aufgabe, für seine Generation einzutreten. Kann er das Land wiederherstellen und den Respekt der Bürger erringen? (Herausgeber) Es ist ein Sammelspiel und genau so gut wie die bisherigen. Die Karten sind sehr gut und, sehr Komplex. Die Zeitvorgabe kann man abschalten. So komme ich auf 15 Spielstunden. Was auch an der Schwierigkeitsstufe liegt. Sie ist hoch, aber nicht so schwer. Sehr gut gemacht. Wer mit Zeitvorgabe Spielen will, sollte sich auf eine Herausforderung vorbereiten. Dieser Teil ist der Auftakt zu der neuen Serie. Auch sie überzeugt durch Qualität. Sehr gut durchdacht. Klare Empfehlung. Tolles Spiel, gut wie die Vorgänger. Karten sind gut gestaltet, Grafik ist zwar nicht FullHD, aber ansprechend. Es gibt 40+1 Level, 3 Schwierigkeitsgrade, 100% (nicht Steam) ist machbar. Story ist lahm, so wie bei vielen Titeln. Die Aufgaben sind zwar irgendwie immer gleich, aber das stört nicht. Es gibt einen Bug, der bei schnellen Gamermonitoren mit mehr als 60 Bildern das Spiel dann doppelt so schnell laufen läßt. Also unbedingt den Monitor auf 60 Bilder Wiederholfrequenz einstellen! Ansonsten macht das Spiel viel Spaß und man suchtet es gleich durch. Im Angebot ein Pflichtkauf, ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Titel.

The result is a low-paced casual game that may feel challenging for the wrong reasons. [h1]Long version:[/h1] True to its name, Roads of Rome: New Generation is a clean slate in this time management series. We get a new protagonist, the son of the Roman general from the original trilogy, who must rebuild several provinces after a devastating earthquake. We also got a different game engine, something that will be familiar for those who played other games from Realore (Adelantado, Island Tribe). Said engine came with a few problems thanks to the developers' decision to keep as many old mechanics as possible. New Generation feels slow, made worse by the lack of a command queue feature. There are only 41 levels, but their goal time is often around 10 minutes, leading to a long but sometimes unappealing experience. The stage layouts are mostly okay; as long as you build and upgrade the right production facilities, you can avoid resource shortage and idle times. Learning the exact build order can be tricky on each stage, and thanks to the low pace, we often realise our mistakes at the end, resulting in pointlessly frustrating resets. Also, the bonuses (movement or work speed, and so on) must be collected by a worker, vastly undermining their usefulness, leading to an even more uncomfortably slow pace.

Roads of Rome: New Generation очень похожа на игры стратегии на время для мобильных телефонов. Суть таже, разница в сюжете. Добываем ресурсы, строим мосты, мастерские, дороги. Чем больше работников, тем быстрее будут выполняться задания. Выполняем все задания уровня, проходим к следующему. Главное не забыть о том, что правильно распределённые рабочие принесут успех в выполнии общего задания уровня - закончить его как можно быстрее. Графика игры проста и мультяшна, что придаёт свой шарм самой игре. Неплохой такой маленький симулятор за свои деньги. Одним из плюсов также - наличии в игре русского языка.

It is a nice time management clear the road type of game. My only problem with it is that you can't schedule things your workers should do in advance. You have to have a free worker to select the next thing to do which is annoying. I wish it would work like most of the other games in this genre where you can schedule an X amount of actions in advance. Works fine on Linux with Proton (Proton 4.11-11).

Стратегия+ тайм-менеджмент. На землях Рима произошло стихийное бедствие. Нам придется справится с последствиями землетрясения. Все в лучших традициях. Задаем бегающим по карте работягам задания, они таскают для нас ресурсы, собирают ягоды, рубят деревья, строят сооружения и чинят дороги. На то, как работают эти маленькие человечки, можно любоваться часами. Игра дает такую возможность. Тут более 40 уровней. На каждом надо будет быстро распределять работу и ресурсы, чтобы справиться с последствиями землетрясения. Отличная игра, за которой время пролетает незаметно. Не хватает лишь достижений, но есть 4 режима и поддержка русского языка.

Good game, good length, if you like this genre then worth a purchase. Tricky to find all the hidden items but gave a reason to go back and complete a level for gold status.
