for this price AWESOME
Fantastic game. 10/10 Jump from platform to platform as you discover this beautiful strange planet you landed on with your ship. Pros: Graphics Art style Amazing soundtrack Good voice acting. Price Cons: Lag when jumping on a plaftorm nothing game breaking.
I wanted this game to be good, but honestly, this seems like the kind of game a college student worked on as a school project and then decided to put it up on steam. No matter the price, DON'T BUY THIS GAME.
wish some1 hire these dudes and make AAA games, cant believe this works on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ old laptop (cause pc motherboard burned) and looks fkin great and muvs great frekin love this game 9/10 cause i got killed by asteroids hahaaaaaaaaa gotta go finish
RECOMMENDED: HELL YEAH!!! This is a jumping parcour game in a very large, colorful world with decent graphics, awesome music tracks and the world has these dynamics going on which makes the area mystique and beautifull. It feels like that other game "The Witness" but instead of contantly repeating puzzles, you get constant repeating platform parcouring. Personally, it's a rage game to me. I absolutely hate parcour games, yet I bought this game, compelled and attracted by the graphics. I even streamed it, people enjoyed my rage and constant failing, but also amazed how I kept my patience and kept trying over and over untill I finally succeeded. There are however two bugs I encountered @developer which should be mentioned. One UFO collectable could not be picked up. It's in a forest like environment when you walk there, it feels as if you are floating above the ground. And at the bit where you go higher up, when you fall down, you can accidentally hit the level area below you during the fall and that is your new spawnpoint, putting you like 2 or 3 spawnpoints back. I felt stabbed in the back. Because I could not collect that one collectable, I decided to leave the other collectables as they were and just trying to finish the game asap. Overall, an awesome game! Somewhat addicted to it now, I want to finish this game!!!
This is my first bad review, I really wanted to enjoy this game, but I got motion sickness playing it. I think their game oracle is much better, if you like walking sims you should give it a try, but I cannot recommend Riverhill Trials.
Broken engine translates to bad gameplay. Pretty colors, but not pretty graphics. Nice music, but I'm guessing it's royalty free, so there's that. It was beatable, so thats another plus, but there was such a serious lack of actual game mechanics that I'm very glad it's over.
i died in PUGB and woke up in Riverhill i was wtf but then i got chilled gonna go back in PUGB and kill 10/10
This game looks good, so I really wanted to enjoy it. However, it's practically unplayable. To start the game off, you pilot a spaceship through some tunnel of space junk. The controls here feel very awkward, there's some lag between moving the mouse and the spaceship turning the way you want it to, so you have to go slowly or you'll collide into something because you can't steer out of the way in time. And by collide, I mean fly through the junk because there's no collision and warp back to the start. Once you land on the planet, the control problems still occur and you'll probably experience the game itself lagging as well. Which is terrible, because not far ahead you can find a few moving platforms that you'll need to jump on to pass. I thought that I could minimise some of the lag problems by changing the graphics settings, but I was playing at the lowest resolution and you have 3 options for the graphics quality: Beautiful, Gorgeous and Fantastic. I don't know what's wrong with having Low, Medium and High as quality options. In conclusion, I think that the developers should have fixed some of the problems with this game rather than sell it at a lower price.
