This game is a hidden gem amongst this genre. Ive bought and played nearly every survival / crafting game I can find (excluding like 3 over priced titles). This means nearly all the Indies. This game has so much potential. It also plays well (granted my system is higher tier). 1 crash in ~10 hrs. The crafting is unique. Unique like the system in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but not to the point of frustratingly tedious. The game's mood is relaxed as noted by the genre tag. The sense of exploration and discovery is not high, but still enjoyable and rewarding. I see this has been in the works since 2014 (publish to steam date, likely since before that) and I keep seeing refer to an old Java version. I can only imagine how this looked originally, and I've seen some old YouTube videos showing glimpses of it. This game has so much potential. I bought it on sale for 10$ USD and it is easily worth that. If you are on the fence about this game, I encourage you to try it.
I could see myself putting a thousand hours into this. Easy. Really neat game.

Have been looking for a laid back but still relatively in depth survival game and this is the one I’ve been looking for. Hope to see more changes in the future. Amazing game!
Okay, where to begin, SOUND... Oh my god, this game is LOUD!!!! I had to turn the world sound down to 50, and STILL back off on the individual sounds one, by, one. The storms are LOUD, I mean, if you are playing with a friend and utilizing the talk function, they will NOT hear you, even if you yell lol. It is THAT loud. Also, the sound options don't really point to many single things. Like, the axe hitting the trees is EXTREMELY loud, the pick axe hitting the stones, medium, but they fall under the same volume slider lol. With such a weird opening, how can I still say yes to this game? The building is a combo of "7 Days to DIe" and "Minecraft". I play Hytale a whole bunch, so this is right up my alley. The world generation is a bit wonkey. I tried getting an even balance of mountains, hills, and plains, and I am currently playing in the highlands of freaking SIBERIA lol. The map generation sees the words MOUNTAIN and HILL, and just puts you on a world MADE of mountains lol. It's funny and yet gives a bit of a challenge. The cooking is really good, the building makes sense compared to things like Minecraft where you need 2 feathers, 3 sticks, and one stone to make an arrow. Where do the other 2 sticks go!?!? I'm joking of course, but in this game the building is straight forward. if you make flower, you pick up wheat, place it on a grinding stone, and you push the stone to grind the wheat into flour. I mean, DUH!! That makes sense! Things like that keep me wanting to see what else I can make. OH, they have a sailboat as well. Not just ONE boat, but a Row boat and a Sail boat. I don't know where other islands are located, but the fact that it has it in there in pretty decent looking water, it's really cool. I haven't ran into the bad guys yet, but I hear them when night falls on my camp. I hear the wolves more than anything. Luckily I have a lot of fire burning around my place so they don't get close. All in all, the 8 hours that I played on my stream today, was pretty good. The lack of hemp, and how scattered usable things are, that does suck to a degree, but once you get it all pulled together at your camp, you start hearing the birds chirping up in the birch trees you planted, wake up in your newly built house with big metal doors, it's a good time, especially for the price. If you don't want to spend $30+ on a survival game, this one is pretty good. I bought it today and played it for 8 hours straight. That's why I say yes, it's worth experiencing. I hope it keeps getting updates.
Such an amazing game! Was not planning to purchase any games this paycheck but once I saw the discount I had to pick it up. That and I picked up another game as well that was on sale. I wanted to take advantage of the discounted price atm.. But overall the game is so amazing! Played it for an hour and loving ❤️ every second of it! Much for fun to come in the future! This game brings back lots of nostalgia for me. The type of nostalgia I got when playing Minecraft for the first time! This is like a better version of Minecraft in my opinion.
Played the game for the first time last night with some friends. Game looks nice, run's smooth and is fun (especially when you have people to play with). Price is more than fair for what it offers and more! Looking forward future updates !
great fun game
