This is hands-down the absolute peak of the entire trilogy.
best game
It's alright. i guess? it fails to innovate on the original ideas that were presented in that 2013 reboot but it's hardly a bad game. Im more mixed on it though i feel more inclined to say i personally wasn't a big fan of this game. It's cool. I guess. maybe play it, maybe don't. If you've played the original 2013 reboot, you've played this one, basically.

Overall I enjoyed the game. There are several "interactive" "qte" events throughout the game that derail the games enjoyment/fun factor culmnating in the f***ery that is the endgame. The "final boss" event ruined the whole game for me.
During the first portion of the final fight with Constantin, he's in a f***ing Blackhawk-like helicopter btw, regardless of what weapons you have, it CAN ONLY BE DAMAGED BY SHOOTING A SERIES OF LAUNCHED FIREBALLS. Once you're thru that fu**ery, you fall into an enclosed space with whatever resources you happen to have left, good luck. ONLY TO SOMEHOW BE FULLY DISARMED, with the exception of your climbing axe, WHICH NO LONGER DOES DAMAGE UNLESS you've managed to locate a random can, throw it at the right second, and convince the game engine it was STEALTHY ENOUGH to now attack Constantin.
I planned to play all three of the Tomb Raider trilogy games, but I definitely need a break, and I might just watch a YT video for the final one. Steam doesn't have a rating scale it's "Yes," or "No." If you're a fan of hating the game you're playing at various points while playing it, go nuts. If unnecessary Dev shenanigans aren't for you, look elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend to anyone who actually likes completing games. This was almost a DNF for me. I couldn't for the life of me recall why I had originally DNF'ed back in the PS4 days when I originally played; I found out.
