Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I am a big fan of management and optimization games. I really wanted to like this game, and I do to some extent. The graphics are pleasant and the idea is there, but I feel the game is lacking. The gameplay leaves me wanting more, but not in the good way. I spent hours trying to make sure I understood the mechanics. I spent hours more trying to have fun. Unfortunately, the game doesn't quite deliver on the premise it sets up. There are several better tycoon and building type games that are more fun. Go play a different one.

It's a fun little relaxing game to play when you want to just chill and still think a little.
This game is fine. But most other industrial simulation games are better.
Rise of Industry is a fun sim/management game. It's one of the better ones in a flooded genre.
It's a good (enough) game. I played it because I used to play "Industriegigant 2" excessively which was a brilliant game simulating economy. Rise of Industry could replace "Industriegigant 2" but it lacks a few things and that's why I stopped just after a few hours of playing. - Warehouses outbound to shop is done by trucks and not automatic when in range. This leads to unfulfilled demand even if you have enough stock. I appreciate the approach to be as realistic as possible but since you are unable to manipulate city infrastructure and/or last mile carrier it leads to frustration. - Tech tree: It's a nice feature but it is extremely easy to get it all. - Transportation: Truck, Trains, Zeppelin. You upgrade all of them and than it's done. Nothing new to expect to tackle increasing demand and infrastructure bottlenecks. - Infrastructure: You can't upgrade a warehouse to have trains/zeppelins if the city grew around it. In "Industriegigant 2" I used to built around the city a huge supply infrastructure with train stations and warehouses. Not possible here. - Shops: Location is set by the game, not by you. This was the key to built an integrated supply chain from production to fullfilment to consumer.
Deleted my saves for some reason.
