Can't recoomend in current state, game is not playable. 1. Bugs Multiple gamebreaking bugs. ex: Game freezes when clicking 'nav area' overlay. My save broke and crashes game on load. Invisible pipes or non-functional pipes. Tutorial is broken in creative despite creative being selected by default. Turning tutorial off only turns off first step. I had to 'repair' game files once bacause game started freezing when loading and 'repair' helped. 2. UI UI desperately needs more feedback: buttons need tooltips, crew assigments need to show what crew does instead of leaving player blind, build helper should specify why something is not working not just show an exclamation icon near a stat, e t c. Early tutorial is decent but it just doesn't cover everything. 3. Atmosphere. Ships and world feel a bit dead. There are singnificant distances and orbits, but since fuel is infinite from the start they are just decorations. Crew idles around but doesn't react to what's going on with the ship, neither does ship, it's completely detached from external factors. Fuel, oxygen and even power are just static numbers. Generators don't spin faster under load (load is static), you don't see fuel go to thrusters, you don't see readiness lights change for warp, nor storage has any indicators of fullness, finished ships are very boring. Note that I couldn't play much because of bugs, but looks like world comes pre-surveyed despite game being called 'survey fleet' and I suspect there are a bunch of other such issues. Making first ship is somewhat interesting, but there is not enough variety to keep it interesting, multiplied by bugs, especially game breaking ones...
