About
The world has always been stranger than we were allowed to know.
Mythic entities, things that go bump in the night, and impossible doorways to a limitless universe of wonders - and threats - all exist, just beyond sight. Secret societies, hidden wars, and impossible technologies all bend to one mandate: contain the unknown before it consumes us.
You are a Weaver, an elite operative of the Mythic Protocol trained to close rifts, wield supernatural powers, deploy unique technologies, and survive encounters with entities that should not exist. Deploy alone or with up to two friends and take the fight into unstable mythic combat zones where every mission is another chance to bring something dangerous back alive — or make sure it never returns.
The Protocol dictates the mission, you execute.
Investigate anomalous activity. Contain rift outbreaks. Exterminate mythic threats before they spiral beyond control.
Drop into hostile PvE missions, complete objectives, collect weapons and field upgrades, and decide how far your squad is willing to push before seeking extraction. Your deployment, your choice - but be warned: Rift Exposure Zones are not to be trifled with.
Rifts escalate, mythics swarm, and not everyone can make it out.
Weavers are no ordinary operatives.
Each Weaver brings their own abilities, combat identity, and role in the squad. Wield experimental weapons, manipulate rift energy, and harness in-mission Lythogram upgrades to reshape your builds and playstyles mid-mission.
Stack modifiers. Trigger synergies. Turn a clean loadout into something ridiculous by the end of a deployment. The possibilities are yours to explore, and unleash.
Some areas are too corrupted to secure cleanly.
Rift Exposure Zones are high-risk areas filled with deadly corruption, unstable rewards, and even deadlier mythics. Push inside to chase better loot and bigger opportunities, or stay clear and keep your current haul safe.
The choice is up to you, and your squad: Go deeper for what might be waiting inside, or extract before the rift decides for you.
Every deployment will put at risk your favourite weapons.
If you fail to extract, not only will you lose everything you’ve found on mission, and the weapons you brought will not come back unscathed.
Scarred Weapons will replace one of its weapon mods with a random negative mod. These weapons remain usable, but scarred.
RIFTSTORM is not about hardcore tactics, gear fear, or punishing players for wanting to have fun.
This is power-fantasy forward looter-shooter, with the freedom to extract. Become a Weaver. Kill monsters. Build momentum. Push your luck. Extract with your rewards — or come back scarred, rebuild, and go again.

I'm a fan of looter shooters, so it's fun to play. I'm too dumb to understand a lot else that is going on...but enjoying shooting/killing things until I am, myself, ended.
The decision to keep RIFTSTORM strictly PVE was, in my opinion, the single smartest design choice this team made. Extraction shooters have historically been defined by their toxic PVP layer — the paranoia, the loss aversion, the griefing. Stripping that out and replacing it with cooperative tension against the environment preserves everything good about the genre without the parts that make those games exhausting to play long-term. The Weapon Scarring is particularly brilliant. I hope they expand on it, making some interesting scars instead of just bland negative debuffs. But here's the thing: You can jump in with friends after work and actually have fun. Novel concept, I know.

Overall I'd Give it a 6 out of 10 as an Early Access Game. (version 0.6.2.1) A lot of the pros are also cons right now. I am hopeful that this game succeeds at 1.0, but will take some work. Potential is there and if you want to kill 20 hours and support an EA dev team, the sale price of 11.99 is worth it. I have reached level 50 (current max) with one character and mid 40's with two more. my maxed weaver still has 8 skill points to unlock due to difficulty obtaining weaver dataseeds, which are needed to spend the earned skill point. The gameplay loop is good in short doeses as a solo player, and with co-op you can rush missions with ease. There is a lack in mission objective variety, but they are working on more mission types. Some characters feel more 'done' than others and the combat can be challenging at times. The rogue-like style level ups we all came for feel... slightly underwhelming at times, depending on the character. I dont regret buying the game, but do hope that Confiction Labs successfully flushes it out by they call the game done. They have already started addressing community complaints. Enjoyable for an EA title. Pros: -Interesting concept for the world if it gets developed more - character variety checks some boxes, but could use some tweaking - Co-Op is more fun if your game doesn't crash, if you don't get kicked or disconnected - some of the legendary weapons can make a positive impact on gameplay and make the missions fun from start\ - Beta mission type Killbox has a lot of potential. it is an endless run that lets you flush out a build and earn a ton of resources and weapons ( no credits for now though :( ) - Co-op offers ways to unlock more, faster Cons (term used lightly. these things can be improved on before launch: - solo play gets boring - not everything is explained to you in game. (context: i had my wife join me for a few missions and was confused on how to find a few mission identifiers and it led to her wasting time on missions that weren't progressing anything) - Characters need some balancing. Hertz does same damage as any DPS but doesnt have to worry about survivability as much as two other DPS characters. Characters that use pets for their abilities don't feel special. I often found that I was focusing more on gun play than bothering to use my summon abilities, because my gun was doing the job just fine. - Caracal (another character) is locked behind earning some extra materials, rather than story progression and his gameplay doesn't feel like it was any more special than any other character. I wish my first play throughs with him made me feel like it had been a worthwhile goal to achieve - Credits, the main currency, are a time wall. Though a recent update increased the drop amounts on higher difficulty missions, it takes three missions to buy a gun from the store once you reach Threat Level 4. Everything you do requires credits. Repair a gun? 6,750. Skill point? 6,750, Craft a gun? 3k-7k, Craft an Augment? 3k-6k. Mission rewards at Threat 4 award 6k to 13,500, with exception of max difficulty (9999) which awards 20k. - Co-op is unstable for some players right now - some interactables in-mission have potential to overlap with other objects, making it hard to select things some times. (minor annoyance) - when playing missions with multiple levels, I have gotten brought to a 3rd floor that had the exact same layout as the first floor I was on. While in this game it is not possible to go back to a previous floor, I was confused for a second and thought I had. Reusing maps is okay to a point, but leaving a floor to travel to an exact copy makes it boring - To max out skill points for characters, you need a weaver dataseed which is only availablle in urgent missions. missions are reset every 15ish minutes and unless you sit playing for long periods of time like I did, you may not see one offered for your character if you play Hertz, Rook, Botsy (3 of 5 current characters) - it takes a little time to get a build moving, and often, by the time you have a well performing build, you are killing the boss (never took any longer than 45 seconds), you are going to base and dont get to play with it
Extraction-lite. You know what? I'm going to all it: RIFTSTORMlike. So many other games just are literal cookie cutter copies and rekins of vampire survors or other lame roguelite. RIFTSTORM actually moves that needle forward. Great job devs! Let's bring this home in 1.0!
I've followed this team for a long time. From when they were just a few people to at some point a big studio then they got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over and were small. To see that only a handful of people worked so far the last year to get this game to where it is now is just amazing. The game was.. fine... before. But this, this is truly fun!
I'm a bit late to the launch party so I swerved whatever lag issues a lot of the negative reviews were talking about. Connection feels great with no lag. Game is dope; feels like the natural progression from something like what Alien Swarm could have been. Been having a blast and excited to play more
I get that most games are rushing to launch before GTA IV but I'll say it: Indies stop rushing games out, you're not competing with GTA 6. I wish this game would take like another 6 months of bug fixing before release, but I'll take it as it is, bugs and all. Really great game.
The weapon design deserves its own callout. Each manufacturer has its own visual identity — you can tell someone on the art team actually cared. Not everything is working, or feels great but that's Early Access reality. The bones are gorgeous and the team seems to actually give ♥♥♥♥. Look at all them replying to comments in the Steam Discussion. Seriously how many games do you see having that?
Fluid gameplay, interesting backstory, decent visuals. I think there's a room for polish in some area, but it's ok for now, can't wait for this weekend to invite my friends to join in multiplayer mode
像肉鸽版的搜打撤,总的还不错,主要还是卡顿和性能问题,速度优化啊
