It was fun enough until they insisted on making me solve a rubiks cube...
I know design puzzles is hard, but that don't mean putting two rubik's cube thing there is acceptable. Please replace them next time with just a Sudoku, cross word, a calculus problem or something with somewhat equal difficulties to general public. First level is fine, second a bit harder, third is challenging. Some puzzles require sort of knowledge. So far so good. But the final senario is just stupid. Simply remove the final level would turn many negative reviews into positive, based on others comments. Other things are all good.
Purchased this thinking it would be like The Room. They seemed to be trying for the same concept but the controls, details and puzzles are lacking.
This game is clearly inspired by The Room series and keeping that in mind, it fails to deliver in both quality and concept. There's another review on here that states the game has a strong start and it does right up until a 2x2 Rubix Cube puzzle and that's when the problems with the game start to show up. Pros *Writing is serviceable to the plot, it's not amazing but it gets the job done. *Atmosphere, feels detective and mystery themed *Music was pretty good *Graphics and details are good Cons *Controls, the number one reason a particular puzzle in chapter 3, made me write this review and put this game down because they are just so, so bad. It feels there is almost no consideration considered for how this affects desktop users when it was ported from iOS. *Hints are not good, work needs to be done on these. It often told me what I already knew but not direct me in a way that guides me. ---- A lot of the time I just found myself engaging in trial and error when I just did not know what do with a puzzle. It tries so desperately to be like The Room series, which is very good btw A+ recommend, but it just falls flat. The difficulty curve seems all over the place with the puzzles, which would be fine if the hint system wasn't just so vague. A special eff you to the cylinder puzzle in chapter 3 and the Rubix in Chapter 1. These aren't fun, they aren't engaging, they are simply trial and error. It can be done better. 3/10
Похожа на The Room, но короче.
Chapter One - I liked the game and wondered why everyone else hated it. Chapter Two - I started to figure out why everyone complained about wonky controls costing so much time. Chapter Three - I started to hate the game because the storyline went south along with the controls. The puzzles were extremely lame as well. I'd be more intrigued with crayons and a coloring page if you're going to make me match what color grass, sky, water, and so on are. The hints are also worthless. Don't even bother using them.
A puzzle game where for several puzzles the greater challenge is not to figure out how to reach a solution, but rather how to make the controls do what you want
Полная туфта. Сюжета нет. Заданий мало. Управление косячное. Если продолжение будет такое же - то это задница.
Terrible interfaces to puzzles that are more grindy than clever, and the other reviews say it gets worse later on? Refunded.
