Mind bending puzzle game using clones to solve stages. It's a lot of fun. The soundtrack is good, optimization is fairly good. The main gripe i have would be the frame drops when pulling up your arms to summon clones(assuming it has to do with rendering the different scenes), luckily it doesnt effect gameplay since it happens prior to the action beginning. All in all, it's a very unique game that's very fun. I would highly recomended if you enjoy puzzle games!
It's a fun puzzle game, although the game is a bit too short. The puzzles are easy to medium difficulty and the entire game can be finished in 4 hours or less. But they were a lot of fun. There are other puzzle games involving creating your own clone but this also involves a time travel aspect, kinda, that makes it a lot more enjoyable. The game has a portal-ish feel to it. Just like Portal, your goal in each level is to reach the exit. You need to figure out how to reach the exit level. For that you clone yourself and use the clone to help you get there. But you can't interact with the clone. The clone repeats exactly what you did the first time. The puzzle solving happens in 3 stages. First, you figure out what needs to be done to go through the exit. Then you need to figure out which version of you will do what. Finally, you execute your plan. I love the endorphin rush when my plan works out like it should, sometimes it might need a couple of tries to get things perfect, and I finally reach the exit. If you like puzzle games I highly recommend it, especially if it's on sale.
Rewind is first person temporal puzzle game - you'll run each mission multiple times, while previous clones of yourself run around doing what you've programmed in previous iterations. Remembering and keeping track of what all your timelines are doing during each second of gameplay is inherently hard, but blessedly the missions are designed to ease you in. The mind-bending concept helps trigger a sense of accomplishment that overall more difficult puzzle games sometimes fail to deliver. The trappings are similar to games like Portal - irreverent story with Sci-Fi humor - the gameplay delivers the lion's share of the charm. You might find yourself dodging your own gunfire or mistreating your clones in ways you might not expect.
I like the time concept using clones to solve puzzles, but the game commits one of the worst sins in my opinion of a puzzle game. The puzzles are reallly easy to solve but really hard to pull off at least for me. Maybe you just need better 3d platforming skills but at least with Portal once you knew the solution the puzzles were easy to pull off.

This was a fun game to play, as it explored the rewind game mechanic fully, a mechanic touched on an amount in The Talos Principle. This was a nice light experience that reminded of the first person puzzle games that it was clearly inspired by. The story was a bit lacking, though, in my opinion. Perhaps, this is because I have come to expect so much from such games because of Portal and the above mentioned The Talos Principle. Still, this was pretty darn fun, and, especially at price point, I would say it's worth it for the gameplay.
This was a great game, took me around 2 and a half hours to beat. It seemed like there was nothing I could miss that was off the beaten path. After playing many time manipulation puzzle games i find this to be one of the most intuitive with up to 3 iterations that you can redo any point of, along with REWINDing any immediate mistakes you made. My biggest complaint, it seems like it had more potential and it ended a bit abruptly. - Easy to complex puzzles - Limited iterations = minimal frustration - No endless attempts of making mistakes before you fix it - Ability to alter the past without causing paradoxes - Paradoxes are still possible, rarely by inconsistencies of cutting the timing too close.
I love this kina games egen you han reverse time an see yourself doing what you just did. This kinda puzzle games are just so cool, however, I wish the game would be longer and that you could have more clones.
