On launching the game I could see that it was installing a rootkit and spyware in the background, which is not uninstalled when uninstalling the game as it should be. It will be permanetly running and masking the process. It will also appropriate itself as a Microsoft service (I'm sure that's legal) and use a CLSID to prevent cleartext naming. Go to :/Windows/System32/ and see if mracsvc.exe is present after an uninstall. :/Windows/System32/drivers/mracdrv.sys Will be perpetually loaded and is going to be invisible in your process list. Edit: Apparently it uninstalls properly now, but I haven't looked back into it.
I did enjoy this game, however after I received some alerts from my internet provider about various locations trying to access my IP during the times that I played this game I decided to give it a good delete. I don't recommend this game for that reason. This game uses the my.games launcher. When I did some research about it, apparently another person who tried playing a different game that uses the launcher found out that the launcher was sending system info, browser history, program files and registry info to a blacklisted malware server. Now I understand that peer to peer downloading is common for a lot of games and gathering this info for ads and things like that are also things that companies do. I'm sure they outline this in their TOS. I just don't feel comfortable about it sending that data to a known blacklisted server and having my service provider ping me for 43 different IP's trying to access my computer. As far as the game itself goes, I think there could be more subtitles for the English-speaking version and maybe a look over for some of the beginning quests because a few details repeat even though they require you to do something different. I also encountered some crashes, but that could be a mixture of things, but something to keep in mind that could occur. If I rated the game alone I'd give it a 2.5/5. Not a full 3 because of the crashing.

50/100 typical Asia-Grinder from ~2010 language: Chinese (with English subtitles) bad pings: Europe/US servers seem to be in HongKong no Steam integration.. only Gamecenter-launcher is linked ;( Release: China: 2015 .. EU/US 2017 First Hours: - 5 hours Download counts as "playtime" (Launcher is running) - 24GB.. installed, shows "Play".. but not working - choose option "verify and fix installed game files" - now updating another 2GB - game starts... create character Overall: - boring quests (..features Auto-questing) - gfx of 2012 - Pay2Win - Shop - GRIND - quite dead.. >>> Summary: Better skip this game..
Couldn't really get into the game. Screen was too busy and small for my eyes (even after maxing out the UI adjustment). Installs mail.ru anti-cheat and does not remove when uninstalled. What pisses me off the most is that it installs the files buried within the Windows folder. Keep your crap out of my OS folder! It's not a driver or app that is integral to the OS itself, so it does not belong there!
I've been playing revelation for 3-4 years from CN to RU to NA. This company is terrible. Straight to the point. They don't know how to run games, most of the time they focus on the money grabbing than the communities opinions. This new steam release was poorly released no new server. Few days later ok new server coming up, "No announce of the date or time the server will go up" they just release it like that. Not only did they release the new servers randomly not giving people time to prepare for a fun launch for our new player base. The server is completely bugged, weeklies are resetting every hour and dailies are resetting as well. You can pop ascension stones nonstop because the cap gets reset constantly. The fact that this new steam release with the new server was worse than the original release of this game just goes to show the low competency of this company. And believe me the original release of this game on NA was horrible. Avoid this company like the plague if you enjoy MMO's currently. Or do what I do and play on the Russian or Chinese version where the companies are 10x better at keeping the game working and up to date.
This is a very difficult MMO to review simply because of the strange situation where it is has a Chinese developer and a Russian publisher for the Western Market. It's not a bad game, it's just the market has moved on from the type of content this game has. To put it simply it's very generic. There is no other real way to put it. It's not bad or technically inept but it it just doesn't have anything great going for it. Combat? It's basically the same as Bless you have simple action combat that can change stances to change function Classes? There are seven each a different version of traditional roles e.g. vanguard = main tank, gunslinger = ranged dps. Each class is supposed to have two different functions but all are dps and some off/main tank or heal. Connectivity? Messy, no idea where the servers are for EU but here in EU West ping is crap and action combat is a mess because of it. Graphics? It looks like it would have been good looking in 2010. Really bad pop-in and blurry textures Sound? Voice acting is fine, the problem is that the voices say stuff that isn't subtitled and there is still tons of background characters speaking in Chinese. The worst is the sounds of monkeys early on the first map as if they are in great pain trying to pass kidney stones. Music is forgettable. Community? cannot comment really on this, there are players in the cities but a lot are afk. Gameplay is just taking missions from NPCs and running around the world, its like auto run in phone MMOS. Cash shop? It's pretty standard fare here, you buy bonuses for exp grind, mount speed, cosmetics etc. Story? not worth trying to even understand its generic fantasy wushu land. The UI is too complicated and getting into the game needs you to put in anti-cheat software as they put it, but a lot of people think its malware. To be fair to the developers I don't think they are at fault here for the game state its literally a port of the Chinese version. They are very active on their social media pages and do seem genuinely interested in the state of the game. etc but the website is out of date. My.com isn't a major gaming publisher or developer on PC especially for MMOs. They mainly have phone games and are a subsidary of a larger russian internet company. The main reason I tried this is to see how good or bad My.com is, they are fine as long as you realise the value of their products. They might be publishing Lost Ark and Ashes of Creation here in the West (at least in Russia) so I worry about Pay to Win tl;dr its a few year old MMO based on chinese fantasy that doesn't anything very well but nothing is fundamentally broken either. If this was ported to phones today it might still be called old. If you have some free time try it, but it's not going to blow anyone away.
- No new servers (you play on old servers full of whales and max level characters or alts of those players, in a game that is already dead aside for heavy cash shoppers) - You get a crap welcome pack with a useless title (i mean seriously, throw a bone if you really are that cheap to not go for a new steam only players server, dont try to milk a dead cow already) - Game is mainly pvp focused in a p2w world...... Update : the announcement for new servers has been made, i will update and change this review as soon as the new servers are on and ready
After putting a fair amount of time in this game i have to say it's quite good, with exciting combat, fresh and new considering i've played World of Warcraft for years. The game is a lot of fun upto about level 45ish, leveling really slows down at this point, the PvP is quite interesting and fun but i'll get to that also... It had such promise but i have to say it's no good really, as there are lot of MMO players out there happy to sink £50 - £100 into this game to gain a massive advantage over F2P players who are limited behind daily purchase cooldowns and limited Bronze Shard for free players. Now a lot of character enchancing stuff can be bought there making their character's far more powerful than any free player. Plus the game gives little direction for improving your character past 40odd without spending real money and the community seems to get very Elitist about players not in the know about quick ways to get the best gear for your class.. I noticed a massive imbalance in PvP on Oceanflow in Battlegrounds (when you got a Q pop...) and the Territory Wars was kind of a joke both times. Guilds with all Golden shiny gear, level 59, all +10 refinement or higher, tier 5 gems and above just cakewalking people... It made my head spin how much money they must of sunk into it or how much they knew that i didn't and rather than sharing info, calling me a scrub etc when i don't even speak in this game lol... Now i wouldn't recommend this game to anyone unless you've got a bit of spare capital, and find someone to teach you the basics etc and you'll have fun.. But don't expect nothing but a hard cruel slog against the rich and apparently "more skilled than than you" players that are currently all over the place... Such a shame..
Want to start revolution online? Too bad, unless you want a bland casual experience its too late, you're too far behind and will never catch up no matter how much money you spend. Dailies/weeklies stack too hard and this game is winner take all (winners being pay to winners, aka. whales). The level cap was just increased, and way too early at that, to prepare us for merging with a server thats been around much longer, so even the top players on this steam server are screwed unless they whale even harder. Not to mention people hit the new cap in a day by bug abusing, but now theyve declared it bannable, so all those guys that cheated get to stay ahead and reap the rewards of being the only ones at lvl cap. So many players who've spent hundreds are too far behind, everyones been screwed. The endgame is guild pvp, but its no skill and best gear wins. Low population means its really just two guilds battling it out Starting two weeks late left me impossibly behind, especially on crafting, the defacto way to gear up, you're already a month behind, gl. Its grind-tastic and beyond that the game is decent. But who is it for? Nobody. Edit: All the bug abusers got a slap on the wrist, 3-day ban...
If you're thinking about picking this game up, don't. I've played this game for 3yrs, more than half of that just hardcore grinding everything til life caught up with me last January. It's a good game at heart but the localizing kinda ruined it. To catch up with the community you need to put long hours into the game and pay a hefty sum. Heavily p2w and the servers are very underpopulated. Currently, NA servers are facing issues entering the cross server loading zones (game just doesn't connect the player and you get stuck in a load screen until relaunching and trying again) for what feels like a year now (been happening since waayyyy before the start 2021). Also, the Steam launcher doesn't work properly until you do some weird stuff to fix it (but you can't transfer your steam character to their my.games launcher). Oh and about that cross server stuff? The current battles that are supposed to be happening for Lv69+ aren't (guild v guild, voras). So yeah, go spend your time and money elsewhere for both of our sakes.
