Eldevin. It is a game. You swing swords, throw fireballs, make potions, sometimes all at once. No classes, just talent trees. Very confusing first time, later still confusing, somehow fun. World is big. Many cities, dungeons, forests. Sometimes you get lost. Sometimes you die. Sometimes you wonder why you are even here. Crafting exists. Fourteen professions. You can make armour, food, things nobody asked for. Combat is real time. Bosses hit hard. You hit back, sometimes. Player base small. Hard to find people. But quiet is nice. Graphics are old, but that is fine. Game runs. Game works. Game is fine. Eldevin is like a sausage. Not flashy. Gets the job done. Sometimes disappointing. Sometimes excellent. Mostly acceptable.
Funny All these fake +1 reviews. So all these people just happen to +1 the game on Dec 1st lol

So it is again time to review, yes a good game, yes a fun game, yes it needs more people, yes I recommend it. ok? You won't believe me, you won't play it, it's ok. I will.
Eldevin is a great old school mmorpg. There are tons of quests to do, dungeons to run, and professions to train. You can play this game entirely free to play if you choose without feeling like you need to spend money, unless you want to support this great game. I've been playing for ~37 hours now entirely solo without any problems doing all the content so far. Dungeons can be run solo (there are group and solo settings starting at lvl 10) to get the dungeon gear sets no problem. The level 5 dungeon is a joke so the solo setting isn't needed. The helmets have to be crafted for the sets after lvl 5 with the tailoring, leatherworking, or armor professions. This is game is no longer being developed, but there is so much existing content to enjoy. The player population is minimal, but I've been enjoying my time playing solo mostly. You have nothing to lose by trying it for free. The download is extremely small too. Edit: 2/6/26 After reaching level 45 and doing the last story mode dungeon, I noticed this game is no longer SOLO friendly. All the endgame dungeons do not have a story mode and require a group to complete. The problem is that the population is dead, so you can't run them. Many high level quests are for Groups only as well. I also started encountering a log of bugs in the later high level quests. For example. the boss mob you have to kill is invisible and not able to be targeted as its killing you. I have quit playing now, but got a few weeks free solo fun out of the game.
Yes, I wholeheartedly recommend this brilliant, vastly underrated game. I only wish that the devs would come back and breathe a bit of fresh life into the game, as it stands now (March 2026) the game is quite empty in terms of players, which is really unfortunate. Such a fantastic game. Oh well, we can all hope together I suppose.
