Surprising little find, I just hope they make more! <3
Yep its great, i would love it if the first boss didnt drop a broken pickaxe with 97% power though destroys the whole progression on layer 2-3-4-5-6 and so on. Why drop something that good that early? just remove it from the drop pool or nerf it to have the same power as layer 1-2 pickaxe MAX. It killed my dopamine i was having lots of fun untill then kinda forcing myself to play now to get to later stages where new upgrades matter again but it seems thats even higher then tier 5? idk. Steady increase in power is the way. Short but high dopamine rewards just ruin it. To developer: please add a quickstack items to nearby chests! like 10 block range or similiar having to sort items all the time is a pain, would be a huge quality of life update to the game. also the pickaxe thing. otherwise so far early game is 10/10
Core Keeper clone, but you have female slaves
Fun to play
☕︎ ♪.ılılıll|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|llılılı.♫♪ ☕︎ With over 80 hours of gameplay, I can say this game will give you plenty of fun hours. It's worth giving this game a chance, especially if you buy it on sale.
Story
The story was better than I expected, featuring two different endings. I went in expecting just a mining sandbox, but I was surprised by how the narrative about humanity's downfall is developed through ruins and dialogues.
Relationships
You can peep on them while they're showering... In the game you can build affinity with six monster girls and a cat girl child. It's a pretty basic mechanic, but it's not like you can marry any of them. Each of them has her own item shop based on trust. These shops unlock new weapons and some unique items from them. I liked this mechanic, but it could have more unique items and fewer generic ones.
Gameplay
The game combines elements of mining, base building, automation, RPG and relationship simulation, while you uncover the truth behind humanity's downfall. The gameplay is smooth and there's a huge variety of weapons and powers. It has simple weapon customization that makes the game more fun, but could be better.
Difficulty
There are four difficulty levels in the game and you can also customize your game to be as hard or as easy as possible. However, even on easy you need to pay attention, certain monsters can give you trouble. Running out of potions can punish you at any level of the game.
Building
The building aspect of the game is very well done because everything snaps automatically to square blocks, like a chessboard. This prevents the player from having to align things manually. At first you create your base following the tutorial, but you're not forced to build your house there, you can go out to the world floors and build outside. The map floors are limited, they're not infinite, but they're large enough for the player to explore and build something cool. The buildings help you progress in the game and are necessary to advance the story.
Bugs and Issues
Some issues I encountered: Sometimes floor blocks would become inaccessible highlighted in red, I couldn't remove or place anything on top. I had to save and reload the save for it to return to normal. When I went to sleep sometimes the character wouldn't get up normally, he would stay in the sleeping position even after getting out of bed (funny), he would only return to normal after interacting with something. Depending on how much you build within the maps the game starts to lag a bit, could be a performance or optimization issue. Saving and returning to the game fixed this.
It's sort of like a core keeper lite; featuring monster girl companions, some lightweight automation, and a linear narrative driven story. Its relatively simple and straightforward by comparison, but it still scratches that same itch if you're looking for something different. It goes on sale frequently. I cant say it'll wow your socks off, but I certainly think it's worth trying out for the price.
Its fun I like! little better than core keeper just a little bit in the art not the game play!
