Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

レトロゲーム大好物なので購入。 後発の以下のゲームもおすすめ https://store.steampowered.com/app/1147860/UFO_50/
My favorite thing about this game is how easy it is to just pick up and play. You don't have to go through one hour of tutorial, one hour of storytelling and that crap. I also love how this is not a "parody" of a retro game, like so many others. Filled with dumb jokes and callbacks to other, more better games. No, this feels like a really good collection of games done in a true retro-style fashion!
The game are all garbage with the exception being Shuten. But it on a massive discount.

Varied experiences, those who enjoy games made with the retro 8 bit aethetics and classic game experience will get a few good hours out of this one Few small things that ruined the experience for me personally - hard locked myself out of the ending of 1 of the games somehow - individual exe files for each title make it so setting the audio a repeated task when swapping games - old school z + x control scheme on mnk left a bit to be desired, you can port old style games to modern control conventions after all Otherwise you can tell the dev team poured alot of time into capturing the premise they wanted to follow and it shows, buy on sale
A great collection of fun and innovative 8-bit-style games that I suspect were initially created for various game jams, and then fleshed out into full games. It reminds me a lot of Retro Game Challenge for the DS. I was more partial to some of the games than others, but I liked more than enough of them to feel positive about this collection in general. My favorite is "End of Line", a Lolo-ish puzzle game about a suicidal robot who keeps getting resurrected by medi-bots, and has to solve puzzles to destroy them in order to destroy himself. There's also a great metroid-like about switching between 3 different eras, a samurai-themed shmup reminiscent of Guwange where you have to steal enemies attack patterns, and a Donkey Kong Jr pastiche with rhythm elements starring a pug. And several others! This collection is similar to UFO 50, although it's notable that Retro Game Crunch predates UFO 50 by 10 years!
A nice collection of retro minigames. Some are better than others, but all of them are fun in their own way. If you're into retrogames, give it a go. If not, maybe give it a pass.
Retro Game Crunch is an inventive indie collection that pays tribute to the golden age of gaming while constantly challenging the conventions that defined it. Developed by Shaun Inman, Rusty Moyher, and Matt Grimm and published by Retro Game Crunch, the game is built around the idea of recreating the excitement of discovering classic cartridges from the 8-bit era. Rather than presenting straightforward retro clones, the collection offers a series of compact adventures that start with familiar concepts before introducing unexpected twists. This approach transforms what could have been a simple nostalgia project into a surprisingly creative and memorable experience. At first glance, the game appears to be a celebration of classic genres. Players encounter platformers, action games, shooters, and exploration-focused adventures that immediately evoke memories of early console gaming. The pixel art visuals embrace a deliberately old-school appearance, complete with colorful sprites, simple animations, and environments that resemble the limitations of vintage hardware. Accompanying the visuals is a soundtrack filled with energetic chiptune-inspired music that reinforces the retro atmosphere. The presentation successfully captures the feeling of playing games from decades ago without feeling like a direct imitation of any single title. The most impressive aspect of Retro Game Crunch is the way each game evolves beyond its initial premise. The collection encourages players to expect the unexpected, as mechanics and objectives often change in ways that challenge assumptions formed during the opening stages. What begins as a familiar platforming adventure may gradually introduce unconventional ideas, while other games reveal hidden layers that alter the player's understanding of the experience. These design choices create a sense of discovery that keeps the collection engaging from beginning to end. The developers clearly understand the strengths of classic game design and use that knowledge to create experiences that feel both nostalgic and fresh. Variety plays a major role in the game's appeal. Each included title offers a distinct gameplay style, ensuring that players are constantly exposed to new ideas. Some games emphasize precision and quick reflexes, while others focus on exploration, puzzle-solving, or strategic decision-making. Because the individual adventures are relatively short, the collection maintains a brisk pace that prevents repetition. Instead of stretching concepts beyond their limits, Retro Game Crunch introduces a mechanic, explores its potential, and then moves on to the next creative idea. This structure gives the entire package an experimental quality that is rarely found in retro-inspired compilations. The challenge level is another area where the game successfully channels the spirit of older titles. Many of the included adventures require careful timing, observation, and persistence. However, the difficulty generally feels fair because progress is tied to learning mechanics rather than overcoming arbitrary obstacles. Success comes from understanding how each game works and adapting to its unique twists. Players who appreciate classic arcade-style challenge will likely enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes from mastering the various experiences contained within the collection. One potential drawback is the brevity of many individual games. Several concepts are so inventive that players may wish they had been expanded into full standalone releases. Just as certain adventures begin to reveal their most interesting ideas, they often reach their conclusion. While this can leave players wanting more, it also reflects the collection's philosophy of delivering concise, focused experiences. The game prioritizes creativity and variety over length, which may appeal to some players more than others. Technically, Retro Game Crunch is polished and easy to enjoy. Controls are responsive, gameplay is smooth, and the overall package feels cohesive despite containing multiple separate games. The developers successfully unify the collection through a shared retro aesthetic and a consistent commitment to experimentation. Every title contributes something unique, making the package feel like a carefully curated celebration of gaming history rather than a random assortment of mini-games. Retro Game Crunch ultimately succeeds because it understands that nostalgia is most effective when paired with innovation. Instead of merely recreating the past, it reimagines classic design principles and uses them as a foundation for new ideas. The result is a charming, clever, and highly creative collection that rewards curiosity and appreciation for game design. Players who enjoy retro-inspired experiences will find plenty to admire, while those interested in inventive twists on familiar genres may be pleasantly surprised by how much originality is packed into its compact adventures. Retro Game Crunch is a smart and imaginative anthology that combines retro charm with inventive design. Its diverse selection of games, surprising mechanics, and strong understanding of classic gaming make it a standout indie release, even if some of its best ideas leave players wishing for longer adventures.
