About
Build and manage your ultimate retro arcade! Buy classic Arcade Machines, Galaxy Pinball, and Gift Claw games, or invest in Cinema 8D, Go-Karts, and Racing Simulators. Manage the economy, hire staff, and keep every machine running!
Step into the neon-lit world of the past and build the ultimate entertainment center in Retro Arcade Shop Simulator. Start with a humble, dusty venue and gradually transform it into a booming, large-scale arcade business. Buy nostalgic arcade cabinets, organize your floor plan to maximize customer flow, and watch the tokens roll in. Whether you want to recreate a cozy 80s hangout spot or build a massive, multi-room gaming paradise, you have the tools to bring your retro tycoon dreams to life.
Growing your business takes more than plugging in a few machines. You’ll need to manage a token economy across four different currencies, watch your hourly income, and take out bank loans to fund your expansions.
Unlock up to 10 unique rooms and fill them with a variety of attractions. Offer your customers classic Air Hockey, Pinball, and Whack-A-Mole, or invest in high-end Plane Simulators, Bowling Alleys, Go-Kart tracks, and immersive 8D Cinemas. When crowds get overwhelming, hire cashiers, cafeteria workers, and token collectors so no customer ever waits in line.
Make the arcade truly yours with deep interior customization. Choose from dozens of wall and floor textures, add vibrant graffiti murals, and set the perfect mood with neon lighting, signs, and decorative plants. You’ll also need to keep your customers fueled by managing a cafeteria - serve burgers, pour drinks, and sell gaming magazines or CDs to maximize your daily profits.
Heavy use takes its toll. Cabinets break down, screens go dark, and a dead machine is a machine that isn't making you money. Service and repair your hardware, mop the floors, empty the token boxes, and keep the whole venue in working order. Do it all yourself to save money in the early days, then hire repairmen and cleaners once the crowds get too big to handle alone. Blend relaxing business progression with an unforgettable nostalgic atmosphere and become the ultimate arcade tycoon!

Loving it so far. I love how quickly the place became automated. Looking forward to more updates as this develops!
This game is great, and has amazing potential. The devs have some awesome stuff planned and since the game is in early access, I won't count missing features against the review. I've been looking for something to play after Arcade Paradise and this nails just about every aspect. I'm excited that they are going to make the games playable - that could introduce some great achievements!

Pretty good! The vibe is right, customization has some nice features, machine variation is there. My only complaint is that progression does seem to be much faster than it should be. The first 2 days were nice and slow, then after day 3 it's been insane. By day 4 or 5 I had employees that do basically everything for me except ordering, customers flood the store like crazy, and it's a little hard to even move stuff around during the day. Still a great game for the price! Hope to see some good updates!
I am almost at level 20 at the moment. I have added all the games I could and expanded the shop all the way up to the 2nd to last expansion. I have experienced some quirks so Ill try to list my review. pros: super easy to get into and guides you the whole way easy controls customizing your space is good and alot to offer as the game is now plenty of games to keep your shop running Love how polished the game is and nice to be able to relax some cons: too far of a walk from cargo drop to any given place to refill things like vending machines and shelves mpcs get stuff between placed items if they have a gap (trash can next to a shelf) the lighting that you can adjust needs a bit of work can't hire more people even though the more you add the more the customers complain (full token machines and complaints about dusty and dirty) wishlist: more and new employee roles (especially to stock vending machines and bring cargo in) better lighting ability to have some placed items closer (example the check in counters for tokens) better pathing around be able to place consumables on shelves for easier stocking (example placing coffee bags on shelves above the coffee maker) cold storage for surplus consumables (raw burgers and pizza, I can put them in the regular storage but you know what I mean) Overall: I really have enjoyed this game and very well done and for the price, I am surprised there is so much content for it even how much money each thing makes.
Great game and I understand it's early access but there definitely feels like a lack of things to do after unlocking last section of arcade. Also an annoying glitch has left some things I paid for on the roof of the arcade and I am unable to grab them at this time. There should be an option to pay for an auto reset of packages to avoid this glitch for untouched boxes. I would say maybe have some rewards for level 20 and beyond as well. Give endgame players something to strive for.
Love this game! It’s very nice having a game you don’t have to grind grind grind to get anywhere (unless you want the last few achievements). If anything was to improve I’d say inventory slots please! So I can carry more than one box! And the lack of grinding while good for me makes it a shortish game.
Quoi la joke? après deux heures de jeu, le jeu décide de se fermer et ma sauvegarde disparaît. La première fois, cela me fait cela dans un jeu, je ne la trouve vraiment pas drôle
its a good game , decent enough to pay and have plenty to do, so that's a plus point or two. However..... I wouldn't have a small mini 8D Cinema and High End Gaming PC kits in a Retro Arcade, more retro arcades things like dance mat games, two player racing arcades, light gun games , retro helicopter games etc more retro things to keep it an authentic retro arcade high end gaming pc doesn't fit into this in my eyes, needs removed and different more retro arcade feeling objects and items , plenty they could add in place. Hopefully they change this. It might be unlockable objects but when looking doesn't seem to show that ?
If you're a fan of RetroRewind and TCG Simulator, you'll enjoy this one just as much. It's a good weekend sim binge. Looking forward to future updates with more machine options and merchandise for the retail side of it.
