Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Weird to say but even though this is a very old game but nothing really has come close to the management side of running a restaurant. The focus here is much more in managing suppliers/ingredient costs than cooking mini games and recipe experimentation that has dominated this genre. There are new updates coming out now which help modernise it a bit as well. I still go back to this game every couple of years so I am really hoping for a DLC in the future.
So let me get this straight: you're gonna use GenAI to make new capsule art for a game that came out... *checks* SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO? Man, even older games aren't safe anymore. Thanks for ensuring that I'll never buy another of your games, past or present, Enlight!

Very gud
This game is not fit for modern computers. Font is tiny with no option to change, keybind settings are not included, edge panning is annoying, so many things make this a pain to play. Do not recommend
Simply the best game in the genre. Even at its age it shines. Complexities, stories and challenges will keep you hopping. That said, it is cumbersome in some of its mechanics. And the Beta is not ready for playable use. And the graphics seem to have been designed by two completely different people/studios. Still, it is the best out there. It just is.
I came back to this game after 5+ years of it sitting in my library. I originally purchased the game at a Scholastic Book Fair on CD in 2009 when it came out! I'm not even 30 yet. But it was fun then, and it's fun now. I started playing again when I saw the new 1.20/1.22 updates came out, and they have helped so much. There is still much to be desired in the game, but for being a '09 game and still playable, I've seen newer titles like it, but they just can't match the vibe and simplicity of this game. ---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Good ☑ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ MS-DOS ---{ Gameplay }--- ☑ Good ☐ It's just gameplay ☐ Mehh ☐ Watch paint dry instead ---{ Audio }--- ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☑ Not too bad (License Free Music / Some Sounds specific to items) ☐ Bad ---{ Audience }--- ☐ Kids (probably would be bored) ☑ Teens ☑ Adults ☑ Grandma ---{ PC Requirements }--- ☑ Check if you can run paint (anything that still runs) ☐ Potato (i3/R3) ☐ Decent (i5/R5) ---{ Game Size }--- ☐ Floppy Disk ☑ Old Fashioned (2-3GB) ☐ Workable ☐ Big ---{ Difficulty }--- ☐ Just press 'W' ☑ Easy ☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☐ Significant brain usage ---{ Grind }--- ☐ Nothing to grind ☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks ☑ Isn't necessary to progress ☐ Average grind level ---{ Story }--- ☐ No Story ☐ Some lore ☐ Average ☑ Good ☐ Lovely ---{ Game Time }--- ☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee ☐ Short ☑ Average ☐ Long ☐ To infinity and beyond ---{ Price }--- ☐ It's free! ☐ Worth the price ☑ If it's on sale ☐ If u have some spare money left ---{ Bugs }--- ☐ Never heard of ☑ Minor bugs ☐ Can get annoying ---{ ? / 10 }--- ☐ 8 ☑ 9 ☐ 10 ---{ Author }--- ☑ https://vojtastruhar.github.io/steam-review-template Game Version 1.22 [09/14/26]
Very fun game but has a lot of game-breaking bugs and no autosave.
A classic restaurant sim game that still holds up today. I've played them all and this is still the best.
I am a genuine fan of Restaurant Empire 2, and even after all these years, I still think this is a very special game. This is still my favorite restaurant management game of all time. What I love most is the incredible amount of detail and depth that went into its design. There are so many little things in this game that I still haven't found in other restaurant management games. One of the things I particularly love is the variety of ingredients, containers, and products from different countries. I also really enjoy the supplier system, where you can choose suppliers that provide higher-quality ingredients, which then directly affects the quality of the dishes you serve. These details make managing a restaurant much more interesting and give the game a real sense of progression. I also really enjoy the cooking tournaments. They are a great addition to the game and give you another goal to work towards beyond simply running your restaurants. Competing, preparing dishes and trying to achieve better results makes the culinary side of the game even more enjoyable. In my opinion, Restaurant Empire 2 deserves much more recognition. I would absolutely love to see a Restaurant Empire 3 someday, keeping the attention to detail that made this game so special while expanding the systems even further. I would especially love to see more recipes from different countries, more ingredients, more suppliers, and even more cooking tournaments and culinary challenges. Thank you to the developers for creating such a unique and enjoyable game. I sincerely hope that one day we will be able to open the doors of a new restaurant in Restaurant Empire 3! 🍽️❤️ Thank you for making my favorite restaurant management game. I hope we can see Restaurant Empire 3 someday!
