The game is not Tony Hawk's Pro Skater in 2D as I had hoped, it's just a skateboard themed runner game. Although the game seems difficult at first, most people, at least those who don't give up after five minutes, will get used to the controls. Doing tricks is also easy, but the problem, as others have noted in some reviews, is that the controls are not as responsive as they should be. Most of the times I failed a level, it was because I was apparently too slow to press the jump button to jump onto a rail, causing me to fall down the stairs. Landing is also frustrating. Despite trying to land on the same spot every time, sometimes I get a perfect landing and other times I fail. I have no idea if it matters, but I was playing on a Steam Deck. It's not a bad game, but it's not that good either. I'd leave a "mixed" review if I could, as it wasn't that much fun for me to decide to leave a positive mark. Maybe grab it while it is on sale, or try some newer entries, they might be better. I haven't played them yet, so I can't say.
Unresponsive controls and it's basically a mobile runner game with a skate skin. Graphics and sountrack are pretty neat tho.
Base 5 is harder than every other spot in the game. Sure made me wanna tantrum and cry,
OlliOlli remains a stylish classic in the skateboarding genre. Despite its allure, I wasn't drawn to play more after the initial 30 minutes. Nevertheless, it's a skillful ride!
It's really a platformer, there's very little to do with skateboarding here.
terrible controls.
Какая-то мобильная фигня. Управление это что-то с чем-то. Прыжок на левый стик, ехать вперед на (A) Че издеваетесь?
I don't find landing tricks very fun... this basically turns into a flexible rhythm game disconnected from the music which isn't my bag.
This is a perfect arcade skating game
I can't truthfully say I recommend this game just because of the alternatives that exist. This game was amazing to me when it came out. but its sequels blow it out of the water. and this is buggy. it's still a great time if you've got a lot of time to play video games. and who doesn't?
