Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Resort Boss Golf was the earliest of a handful of recent games that have tried to recapture and update the magic of Sid Meier's SimGolf from the 00's. Unfortunately, it lost support from its developer and performs quite poorly, despite its simple voxel artstyle, on a machine well beyond recommended specs. Even if it did run well, the graphics and golf gameplay are still generally not that appealing. I think charming looks and a satisfying golf minigame are two big pieces of a game like this, and RBG doesn't really execute on either IMO. If you're a genre fiend and want to play every golf course building game worth playing, give this a look. If you're a casual player... there are too many better options in the genre to recommend this title.
This is a low poly business management sim where you run a golf course. Great idea, but awful execution. Low poly graphics were used as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this design decision was used to cover a lack of talent or a lack of budget, but that's also irrelevant, the visuals are extremely poor as a result of this choice. Gameplay is thoroughly unengaging, the interface is on par with the poor quality graphics. Despite the low overall quality (the game was dumped fairly rapidly into shovelware game bundles), there's a whopping $13 price tag, more than games like Battlefield 1 or Metro: Exodus when they're on sale. Imagine thinking your low poly shovelware bundlemeat was worth the same as games like that. Anyway, quality here is terrible, which is a shame because there's a demand in the market for a decent golf resort simulator. This just isn't it.

Game was a triple bogey when released. There has been improvement over the past year plus, but in the current state, at best it's a bogey. Just misses par for me due to too many bugs or annoyances I'm finding, terrain height editing, deleting items (must select correct item menu), auto-save interrupting game. Will keep my eye out for 1.0, but can't recommend at this point.
Sub par Sid Meier's Sim Golf. Get Golftopia instead. Much MUCH better fleshed out and polished game.
dont do it
fun
simply poorly optimized garbage
This is fantastic strategy game about owning and making a golf course.
I can't recommend this game which is a shame as it is what a lot like me were really looking for. It is abandoned and non of what was discussed has been delivered.
