Oh, man. I'm not sure what happened here. It looks great, the dialogue is reasonably witty and your AI friend is cute, but I never felt like I'm in control of anything that's happening. I played on a controller. The menu interface is clunky and unintuitive. There is this "quick access" thing in your inventory, which you assume is your shortcuts, but even though I tried to assign hotkeys to items (on a keyboard, while playing on a controller, because there doesn't seem to be a way to do so on the controller), nothing appeared there. Turns out items appear there when there is a context for them to be used, which is nice, but come on. Navigating menus to take a stick is not fun. The jumping feels weird. There's this high gravity thing, where your jumps are reasonably high but you fall almost instantly. While it's realistic, it feels off. I tried using different items to fight off hostile flora, but nothing seemed to work. You're bombarded with quest steps to acquire basic resources and set up mining facilities, which should be helpful, but I felt like the game's shouting at me. Not sure why. Day/night cycle lasts maybe 3 minutes, again, adding to the strange "hurry up!" feeling. What a shame! I was really looking forward to playing this. But the general user experience was just awful.
I really like the game, but it is super buggy. Crafting an item can make things next to you disappear. The game sometimes randomly crashes, or the keyboard suddenly stops working (which is necessary for hotkeys, even if you've been using a controller).
Pointlessly infuriating. Residual tried to be a procedurally generated crafting platformer with two simple "jump" and "action" buttons but whether you are using a keyboard, controller, or other input, navigating this game and its interface is too frustrating to play.
I'm having a lot of fun with this. It's fun exploring and finding new things. No combat is a nice change of pace. Nice graphics and good controls.
An enjoyable non-violent 2D pixel-art platform open world survival-craft exploration game with an interesting story, cool soundtrack, challenging world environments and non overly complicated puzzles.
This is an absolutely Gorgeous and Amazing game with Pixel art. You can customise the controls to your liking and the story is intriguing, i am still learning the different mechanics and secrets the game is throwing at me. Overall, a great game. Started my Second Planet And the fun part is you can hangout and discuss this game on the discord server and the developer is also very interactive.

There are a lot of languages out there, hopefully Chinese can be updated as well. 有很多别的语言 没有中文 让我很不爽 差评
Watch my first impressions video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp5di6V0O9k Summary: -Colorful pixel art style with lots of planetary variation -Randomly generated planets in different galaxies -Hundreds of different creatures to discover and document -Pretty simple crafting -Survival aspects are simple (health, hunger, energy) but tough to keep up with -Fun (sometimes grating) Personal Disaster Bot to help you out -The world tells the story as you discover more, and made me want to keep exploring
