After finishing the main game and most of the DLCs, I can comfortably recommend this game. It's immensely atmospheric and fun with just the right amount of horror and suspense. It took me a little to get used to just how restrictive the movement is, especially with the first-person perspective. At first, I got frustrated with trying to evade certain characters or do certain fights but adjusted with patience and willingness for trial-and-error and came to really enjoy this entry. I do wish there was a little more development done for certain characters to make them more fleshed out but that's my only critique. I can 100% see why it was important in revitalizing the franchise after 6 and if you haven't played this game yet, you absolutely should.
