TL:DR: Hey, it's currently (as of the Steam Summer sale) 49 cents and you get 5 or 6 hours of fun out of it. Extended review: One thumb up. It's a basic time-management game. 60 interchangeable levels, and while you can't get gold on all of them without paying attention, you can easily get silver. No glitches and it works fine under Windows 10. No plot, no hero characters and no achievements, so knock off a thumb if you need those things; this is a pure puzzle game.
Rescue Team is a pointless "12 Labours of Hercules" screen tapper/clicker game. There's no gameplay, just tapping on the screen. The game is made to look like you're making interesting decisions as you're presented with a map of a town/village/pathway that has you clicking on various things to collect things which are then consumed when you click on an obstacle, which unlocks more things to click on. This is so lame and shallow, you could write a script to randomly click the screen and given enough time, it would beat the game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The game only displays in 4:3 pillarboxed aspect ratio. It's possible they developed this using an old CRT they found in a dumpster, or this game has been specifically designed for people gaming on PC's from 1995... either way, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but it doesn't seem to have made it to the app stores. It's unclear why this was put on Steam instead of the app stores it seems to have been designed for. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes Rescue Team might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. Rescue Team has the ridiculous price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product. Because this is the kind of game you can play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend PC gamers pay money for this on Steam.
Очень хорошая тактическая закликивалка. Количество продолжений может посоперничать с "Сагой бесконечности"
The first of many disaster to fix
A disaster has hit three small Island and torn apart everyday life of the citizien. Take control of the rescue team. Save who needs to be safed, fix what has been destroyed and steal, forget that, rescue the prescious gems of the isle. Its a time management game, find the fasted, most effectives way to do acomplish the given task in the given time. The game rewards you with money to spend fixing a house that I suppose belongs to the player. I cant remember the beginning I started this game way to long ago and never really came back to finish it. I cant really tell why I did finish it now. Lets believe the game has stayed fondly in my mind. The game presents 60 levels that have a well balanced curve in difficulty. The gameplay design varies enough to not stale and still I think in today times a game like this could live from more possibilities like costum maps. Luckly this game sparked atleast 7 other titles and a simliar number of numberless titles with last released this year. Maybe we see this in one of them seem. For now lets keep it simple. Judged by its looks it seems to a standard cheaply made cash title. Something that turned mobile over the decade that has past since the release. To my surprise the gameplay convinced me otherwise. The levels are fun and the gameplay allows for strateging planing which gives a surprising depth to the game. Enough to kept me coming back and finishing it. But not everything is gold that glitters. The whole part of earning money to fix your "own" house is rendunded. You earn money by beating the time. Silver means 1 000$ and gold means 10 000$ which means you need a couple of gold medals in order to have your own proper life and house. This system is tied to ingame achievements that sadly do not exist on steam. To my own confusion the game sells the house as achievements but has some achievements based around on how many people have been saved or logs collected. Sadly there is no way to check how many there are and what you need to grind through. A real missed opportunity. Aside this the game does not really have any bad things. Sure some minor gameplay details could have been done better. You cant send out returning workers fast enough and some vehicle parts like chopper are slow. Annoyingly slow if you try beating the game on time. Sometimes mouse clicks dont always register proper and costing precious seconds. But its not a major inconvience and more a testament of time. I am sure newer games are more stabil. I am looking forward for the second game. Luck for me I own almost all games. I found this to me a good game, good enough to have fun. Well so long friends.
