A good dungeon delving RPG. Some of the fights can get quite tough and you need to plan ahead when it comes to food otherwise it can quickly turn into a chef simulator while your party is hiding in a corridor hoping nothing spawns. But this adds to feel of being cut off from the world in a hostile dungeon and living on what you find/magic up. I like the humour and the UI is quite easy to pick up, I also enjoy that the hand holding stops quite early on and the game just lets me figure out my own way to do things.
I stopped to eat and rearrange my inventory several times in the middle of a goblin infested dungeon. I had lit torches in an enclose space and I didn't die from smoke inhalation. Great game, Good mechanics, a blend of an old dungeon bash and new ideas.
I highly suggest this awesome old school dungeon crawler. There's plenty of secrets, interesting items, alchemy recipes, multiple approaches to the combat, different level-ups to suit your gameplay style and awesome 4th wall breaks. Highly recommended to any fan of Grimrock, Eye of Beholder, and any dungeon-crawling game, really!
Music volume doesn't stay saved between runs of the game. Cannot Alt+Tab out of the game.
I went through the tutorial and started a real game, but the interface felt too clunky and the game just didn't capture my interest, resulting in a refund request. Maybe it gets more enthralling later in the game, but for me it failed to deliver on the 2nd moment of truth from the get-go. (Enjoyment of the product)
I like this game as its a bit llike a pantomime and is funny. I also like the characaters
