Some gameplay issues, but otherwise a nice game.
This game is fun on PC but amazing on VR. A great intro to VR games as it doesn't require tons on movement so you don't get the VR-queasiness.
seems a bit cluncky at best

horrible camera and bad saving system.
A good game, but only at first part. The further you go, the worse the gameplay, the dumber the plot, and just about everything else gets. The yellow balls search at the end is just plain stupid. No, there definitely shouldn't have been more than two parts. Хорошая игра, но только поначалу. Чем дальше тем хуже геймплей, тупей сюжет и ужасней примерно всё. Поиск жёлтых шариков под конец - форменная тупость. Нет, больше двух частей точно не стоило выпускать.
Alright, I first played this game on my tablet after stumbling upon it while looking for long, story-driven Android games. It was fun and intriguing, especially the gameplay mechanics that rely on cameras and click-to-guide controls for 'Hope'. Now, I’ve finally got the chance to try it on PC, and oh my god, the jump in quality is insane!!!! The details, the atmosphere... I’m thoroughly enjoying it. However, even though I'm replaying it, I still haven't fully grasped the story. To understand the whole plot and the events, you actually need to listen to the cassette tapes, read the posters, newspapers, etc. This makes following the narrative much more complicated, and there are some terms that are honestly quite complex for a non-native English speaker like myself. Even the ending—I still haven't completely processed it yet. Although it seems logical in a way, I can't help but feel there’s a missing link in the plot and the overarching story. Overall, I highly recommend the game because it’s incredibly fun and a great way to pass the time. If you are a seasoned gamer who loves intricate stories, this game is definitely for you—especially since it’s free *wink, wink* .
déplacement a la troisiême personne est déroutant
This Game... In Many Places... Was Not Fun Objective Review 6 of 5 must play. 5 of 5 great story great gameplay. 4 of 5 great story average gameplay. 3 of 5 average story great gameplay. 2 of 5 play only if it's your favorite genre. 1 of 5 play if you have nothing better to do. 0 of 5 play if you're a masochist -1 of 5 avoid Republique score is 0 of 5. Subjective Review The implementation, to me, was amazing. I mean like, I'm playing on my PC, staring into a monitor, and the main character is speaking to me, relying on me, to guide her via different cameras I switch to, and doors I can electronically unlock for her. Yet there were times when bad things would happen and I could only watch. That's pretty cool. About those cameras... I used a controller from start to finish and found at times the cameras would not change properly as Hope made her way around. Also, when the cameras changed to an entirely different perspective, I would become disoriented in my movement, and I'd get caught by a guard. In fact, probably 15 hours of my playtime are due to bad camera action. Tack on some extra time where I just did not at all know where I was supposed to go or what I was supposed to do and maybe my playtime could be cut down to 10 hours total. The guards AI seemed to be quite on. Great routes as they trudged along, many times more than one, crossing paths with each other. I did not rely on zappers or pepper spray to take guards out. Made it the whole way relying completely on stealth... the downside to that is I did get caught and thrown in a holding cell quite often; which by the way, are placed quite well so even when I got caught, I was still close to the area I made it to. I found the story quite difficult to wrap my head around. Perhaps that's because of my play-style... I do not try to collect everything, so I may have missed some filler. To me, a good story should carry the gamer along without having to find every single item in every nook and cranny just to understand what's going on. I'm not sure if there was an option for subtitles, but if so, it may be a good idea to turn them on. Even playing with headphones some of the speech/narration was hard to understand which could be why I lost sight of the story. As far as the ending goes, at first I was quite dismayed, then after some reflection realized it completely fell in line with the way the whole game went. I could only help Hope... guiding her by camera; electronically opening doors... I couldn't control her decisions. I was just the person behind the camera... and the ending painfully beared this out.
