Renegade Ops

Its a great and unique feeling top down game. The off-brand Gi-joe humor is fun. Overall a really nice arcade experience.

Launched successfully on my Linux machine via Proton and runs well but unfortunately Renegade Ops doesn't play well with a mouse and keyboard, by default moving your vehicle is locked in 8 directions which you can select with combination of WASD key presses, you can turn on Tank Steering in controls settings to make it more bearable but I keep hitting into walls. I may try this again when I have a gamepad since this does look fun but I'm just going to leave it there.

12 missions of pure co-op fun with an enjoyable story, though more varied mission objectives would have made it even better.

Fun little game, main campaign is unfortunately really short (around 4 hours).

Классная аркада для игры как на одном экране так и по сети. Очень напоминает смесь Jungle Strike и Jakal. Настоятельно рекомендую, если вдруг пропустили.

What if Micromachines had a baby with NES Iron Tank? I just played the first mission, this is right up my alley and perfect for the steam deck, it even has a local and online multiplayer mode. I am not a score gamer but I definitely would try to complete this 100%. Oh yea and wtf is Gordon Freeman doing in this game with his own vehicle and perks !? It is intense and chaotic, the action can be confusing at times but overall Renegade Ops is great, I do not regret trying this game more than a decade after its release and I wish for more games like this, with multiplayer, a campaign with different paths (think Starfox N64 for example) and a long list of achievements that unlocks easter eggs and tons of secrets, that is whatI wish for. Gosh i miss these old school game designs. 8/10, stood the test time

Es muy buen shooter. Sencillo, dispara a todo lo que se mueva, pero bien hecho, divertido y satisfactorio.
