As a general rule, I enjoy time management games. However, this one is too easy to get stuck and have to restart level if one wrong move is made. Paths can be very confusing and relaxed (no time) only gives 1 star no matter what is completed. I made it through level 10 (after having to restart because of a wrong move). I hit the same problem on level 11 and quit. Definitely not an enjoyable game for me!

I'm finding "Demigods" to be a fun, challenging and yet frustrating TM/Resource Gathering game. The graphics are really good and your little people are actually pretty cute! Don't let the "cuteness factor" fool you though! This is a game that you really need to think out your strategy ahead of time. I've had to restart levels because I've gotten stuck. You not only build building to supply you with building supplies and food but you also need to build altars...the altars each have special power-ups associated with them and they give you the needed energy to help clear obstacles and mythical creatures from the road. Pay attention to how much energy you have when you start a level and how much is going to be required to reach a certain altar...that will help you to avoid getting stuck and having to start the level over. On one level, the timer ran out and I was asked if I wanted to restart the level or continue...I hit continue but it took me back to the map and I had to restart the level again. Grrr :-) I'm honestly not paying a whole lot of attention to the story but it does seem to be pretty decent. There is some sort of bug with the game in regards to the sound/music. It plays just fine on the menu and map screen but on quite a few levels, as soon as you click on the screen to start the level, the sound disappears. That's not a deal breaker for me since I sometimes will listen to my own music while playing a game. If you enjoy this genre of game, great graphics and a game that really makes you work for those gold stars...then this is the game for you!

Good news, everyone! a) The game was finally delisted from the store. b) Game depots were restored so now you can play it (if you still own it). Currently you need to run the executable file from the game's folder to launch the game. I still would not recommend it. Here's my previous review for history: Absolutely unplayable product in its current state. Game depots were corrupted by the publisher. Don't buy it even though it's still listed in the store! Unless you are a trinket collector.

By just a few levels in, you see this game features more running than in other time-management casual games. Needless running from your home base, out to the objective. It's very simple in design, and as such is straight lines without much branching out. You can have multiple characters, but they have to wait for one guy to finish his job, before they can start running out to do the next step. These games rely on lots of rewards, and in this one they're so mixed up, and reliant on other resources, that the resource/reward game is all off. It's not enjoyable to behold. Meanwhile, the tutorial is painfully obtrusive, and even forces you to make moves. It sucks up the resources and bam! it's done. 2 more levels of this time waster, and I was done. I'm sorry I don't want to play more of this, but honestly there are better time management games out there, and this isn't one of them. Definitely don't buy this at full price. Get it in a bundle like I did, and expect it to be along the lower end of quality in that bundle.

Demigods est un jeu de gestion du temps, nous donnons des ordres à nos demi-dieux pour construire, déblayer et battre les adversaires. C'est joli, agréables a jouer, mais il y a un énorme bug sonore qui bloque tous les sons au bout de quelques secondes de jeu, et toute musique à partir du second niveau joué dans la session ou si on fait pause. Ce n'est pas très dérangeant, mais cela ne fait pas fini. Enfin, et c'est peut être moi, mais j'ai l'impression qu'ils ont tous des regards coquins dans ce jeu, je ne peux pas m'empêcher de penser a cela quand je les vois! Quoi qu'il en soit, je recommande ce jeu qui est bon, malgré ses bugs.

It is an ok time management/clear the road type of game but it does get a bit repetitive and boring by the end. Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (5.0-7).

An sich ist es ein nettes Spiel, aber es hat massive Musik- und Soundprobleme. Spätestens ein Level weiter bleibt das Spiel stumm, nach einem Neustart ist dann vllt mal die Musik da, dafür aber der Sound weg, etc. pp.. Macht so keinen Spaß und ich kann es in dem Zustand nicht empfehlen (zumal dieses Problem schon vor 3 Jahren in den Diskussionen genannt und vom Entwickler kommentiert wurde).
