Remothered: Broken Porcelain

This game hands down is the one of the most frustrating I've played this year. Hope they fix this on remastered version.

Good story but they ruined it at the end. their relationship could've been totally platonic and it would've been better.

The story of this game and Tormented Fathers is so good, at least for me, so nice, I wish It was longer, I love it so much. is not for everyone because this game got you feeling the story, for a person who only wants horror survival and is not interested in the story at all might not be the best option but if you are the type that like the story and like the feeling that story can give you, then you should get it.

Just finished this game in 2026. When I started I was worried about the slew of bugs and issues I have heard of even before I started. But to my surpise there was none. Found this to be easier of the two games mechanics wise, but the story and setting was top notch. Perfectly ties in the beautiful story of the first game with this one. Also the ending started off bittersweet but ended up being heartbreaking. No idea why, despite the jank and lack of polish in many areas, I fell in love with the storyline and loved each and every moment of this game. Maybe I would not recommend this to a casual games who is not into survival/horror genre but for a survival horror enthusiast this will not dissapoint.

The narrative is rich, but often delivered in a fragmented, confusing way that can overwhelm players. Atmosphere remains a strong point: the inn feels claustrophobic, cold, and full of secrets. However, technical issues and inconsistent pacing frequently disrupt immersion. Gameplay mixes stealth, exploration, and scripted encounters, but suffers from bugs and unpredictable AI behavior. ✔️ Pros Deep lore expansion — The game adds layers to the Remothered universe, revealing new connections and backstory. Porcelain — One of the standout stalkers in the series; intimidating design and strong presence. Atmospheric setting — Ashmann Inn is unsettling, with great sound design and environmental storytelling. Emotional character moments — Some scenes land well and add weight to the narrative. Ambitious storytelling — The game tries to tie many threads together, expanding the mythos significantly. ❌ Cons Technical problems — Bugs, glitches, and unstable performance heavily impact the experience. Inconsistent controls — Movement, stealth, and interactions feel unreliable compared to the first game. Chaotic pacing — The story jumps rapidly between timelines and perspectives, making it hard to follow. Unpredictable AI — Stalkers sometimes behave erratically, breaking tension instead of building it. Underdeveloped gameplay mechanics — Some ideas feel rushed or not fully polished.

I would recommend this game.

This game is almost all around better than the first in my opinion. The story is expanded in various directions which I found to be cool, the controls were cleaned up a tad, and there are new mechanics that make for a cool changeup in the flow. This game also felt a bit more linear in the puzzles, whereas the first game kind of tossed you in the deep in. There is a bit of jank between this game and the first, but anyone who has played their fair share of indie and AA horror games, knows jank is par for the course. The story is what really grabs me with these games and there are a lot more positives than negatives. Performance wise, this game played just fine and I had no issues.
