I played this absolute radioactive pile of a video game, and I swear to God, it made me question my entire existence. This game was so disgustingly, irredeemably trash that halfway through I genuinely considered walking into a Taco Bell and painting the floor with my sorrow — right on top of the ground beef — just to cleanse my soul. It’s not just bad. It’s not just broken. It’s an actual war crime disguised as a digital product. I booted this garbage up thinking, “How bad could it be?” Bro… five minutes. That’s all it took. Five minutes for my neurons to start self-destructing out of pure self-preservation. It was so bad I hovered over Dead by Daylight like it was my last meal, and that game has me one mental breakdown away from a court date on a good day. I wouldn’t wish this game on my worst enemy. I want my time back. I want my dignity back. I want financial compensation for the emotional trauma this caused. Hell, I want to call my family just to tell them I’m disappointed in them for not stopping me from playing this abomination. This game deserves to be shot into the sun, buried, and then nuked — just to be safe.
I don't ever really write reviews for games, however the fact that most of these reviews are positive baffles me. I've played indie horror games for about 5 years and never have ran into a game as horrible as this. AI voices, AI writing, dialogue slop to keep wasting your time, and dont get me started on the audio....imagine 2% dialogue volume, but SFX(yes jumpscares) at 2000%, it will genuinely hurt your ears. Free games are more worth your time so dont even bother with this BS, dont let the other reviews fool you that are positive. Even my twitch chat agrees.
Just beat it with 100% achievements! A really cool retro style horror where a masked killer is after you. A good ammount of levels, loved the vhs store. You will also explore your house, a city street area and basement. The game has some funny moments and its overall a chill game
low budget horror game that was ok I suppose some of the main issues I saw was weird building layouts, the legend seeing you through closed doors / walls, and the fact that you can only carry one candle despite having multiple slots open forcing you to go back and forth to the ritual circle. I'm not sure how this game has mostly positive reviews. Super slow paced, senseless story and dialogue that repeats itself in circles. AI voices for everything, and you cannot convince me this game was not written by an AI too. Also, the games audio balancing SUCKS. Super quiet game atmosphere and dialogue with the LOUDEST ear-destroying jump scares I have ever experienced in game. Absolute slop. If you are like me and looking for a cheap horror game and thinking of picking this up... don't lol. There are so many games out there that are FREE that are better than this.
Played it as a meme on stream, it was an okay bit for a few minutes but there are so many issues. It feels completely made with AI to level design, textures, dialogue and voice acting. If you like AI slop then perhaps you would enjoy it but I couldnt play it long til the meme got old. The pause menu is a bit fun and the VHS look is nice, but not enough to carry it since the gameplay and writing are just awful. This game does have one of my favorite reviews of all time though, which was way more entertaining then the game itself

I had fun playing this game, I was a little turned around in the basement but found out you need to find the fuse box to open the door.
