As weird as this may sound, this is the game that springboarded me into FromSoft games. The gameplay, soundtrack, and progression in this game are so addictive and fun it's hard to overstate. Remnant: From the Ashes is the textbook definition of a sleeper hit and a hidden gem. Hands down one of my top 3 games of all time, even after beating the main story on its toughest difficulty, AND hardcore mode, I still find myself returning to spend a couple of hours rematching bosses for the fun of it. If you haven't given this game a try, believe me when I say it's worth every penny and then some. Set the background music to be slightly higher than the rest of the sound when going in, as the game's music really turns the boss fights' intensity up to an 11. Regardless, make sure you take your time with this one. It's one of the best games you'll ever play, no question.

o jogo é divertido mas não faz muito o meu estilo. ainda assim brinquei por algumas horas. ele tem potencial e talvez sua nova continuação seja realmente muito bom. eu gostei por ser um souls lite com tiros e RPG num mundo meio estilo Stranger Things meio vitoriano, fugindo daquela estética medieval dark bem típica do gênero

Remnant: From the Ashes foi uma grata surpresa. Comecei pelo Remnant 2 e, depois de zerá-lo, resolvi voltar para conhecer a origem da franquia. Mesmo sendo um jogo mais antigo, ele continua extremamente divertido e tem algumas das melhores boss fights que já joguei em um shooter em terceira pessoa. O combate é desafiador, as armas têm personalidade e a geração procedural faz cada campanha parecer diferente. Os chefes são o grande destaque: cada um exige uma estratégia diferente e a sensação de finalmente derrotá-los é muito recompensadora. O mais interessante foi perceber como o Remnant 2 evoluiu praticamente todas as mecânicas apresentadas aqui. Jogar o primeiro depois do segundo fez eu enxergar claramente a evolução da franquia. Quase tudo que existe no From the Ashes foi refinado, expandido e melhorado na sequência, mas isso não diminui em nada a qualidade do primeiro jogo. Pelo contrário, mostra o quanto a base já era excelente. Se eu tivesse uma crítica, seria a quantidade um pouco maior de inimigos comuns aparecendo durante algumas lutas contra chefes. Ainda assim, isso não tira o brilho das batalhas. Para quem gostou de Remnant 2, jogar o From the Ashes é praticamente obrigatório. Além de completar a história, ele continua sendo um excelente soulslike com tiro em terceira pessoa e envelheceu muito bem. Recomendo fortemente. 10/10
