Story lacks a bit, but if you like a game not holding your hand, this one is for you.
Peak.
It’s kind of like Dark Souls, but instead of mainly using swords, you get to shoot guns, and you have special abilities called weapon mods. I think it’s a great co-op game. I completed it with my cousin, and we had a really good time. We started on the hardest difficulty, but it felt way too difficult. I’m not sure if that difficulty is really meant for three players instead of two, but we ended up lowering it to Normal. Even then, it was kind of hit or miss. Some bosses were really easy, and other parts of the game were actually very difficult and felt well balanced. It didn’t take us very long to beat the main story. The game definitely has replayability because you can keep building your traits, but I’m just not the type of person who likes replaying games after I beat them. The combat is really the best part of the game. The shooting feels great, the dodging is responsive, and everything just feels smooth. My favorite part was discovering the summon mods. At one point I had four pets fighting for me at the same time—two floating skulls and two homunculi—and that was probably the most fun build I used. A lot of the boss fights were memorable, especially the final one. It starts as this kid connected to a tree, and then it turns into something that reminded me of The Matrix mixed with Doctor Octopus. You can’t reset your traits until after you beat the game, so you’re committed to the build you make during your first playthrough. The loot wasn’t all that rewarding. I did like the Mega Man-style system where you beat a boss, get a piece of it, and use that to craft a new weapon or mod. That part was really cool. But honestly, I mostly stuck with one or two weapons I got early in the game and beat the whole thing with those. I’m sure people who know the game really well can make a lot of different builds, but that just wasn’t how I played. I couldn’t tell you the story if you put a gun to my head.. What was memorable were the enemies, the environments, and the different biomes. Every area felt unique, and I thought the game had a really great art direction. I thought the graphics looked really good. The performance wasn’t as impressive, though. I have a pretty good PC, and I was only getting around 120 to 150 FPS. For a game this old, I expected it to run even better. The co-op experience was really good. My cousin and I connected without any issues and played through the whole game together. There are other game modes, but we only played the story.
quem quem quiser passar horas tentando passar no primeiro boss boa sorte, é injusto demais mesmo no mais fácil, não recomento por conta da extrema dificuldade, dropei e acho que não pretendo jogar mais
