this game is very meh. the gunplay is fine but gets repetitive in my opinion towards the ends. the story is one of those story that speaks in tongues and riddles and doesnt really make a lot of sense. a real "im 14 and this is deep" vibe of a story. the plus of this game is probably the enemy design and environments looking cool and the overall world being interesting in a "wtf is going on" sense where its like worlds collide when your world falls apart. it has full coop with up to two other players which is cool, but the game scales pretty hard so the game is super easy solo but can be super tough in coop if you dont pull your weight. i was carried a lot by randoms and was able to grind up my gear and so when i did go solo in the latter half of the game i was able to breeze through it with ease. only had issues with a handful of bosses so the game overall aint that hard. thats comes from a souls noob :P buy this on a deep sale, im gonna probably skip the dlc and just jump to the sequel which i already own. the main mechanics of this game just arent a big draw for me so i dont feel the urge to just pay to play in different in areas with a story i wont understand while maintaining the same type of exploration and same old gunplay that feels... well... played lol
