About
Launch into space and operate real spacecraft systems the way astronauts did.
Reentry is a realistic space flight simulator-game that blends authentic spacecraft systems with structured missions, progression, and guided learning, and aims to meet the middle-ground between a simulator and a game.
Create your own astronaut, complete historical and fictional missions, gain experience, and gradually master increasingly sophisticated spacecraft operations.
Spacecraft are extraordinarily advanced machines designed to survive and operate in one of the most hostile environments imaginable. In Reentry you will interact directly with their systems by managing guidance computers, propulsion systems, navigation, life support, and mission procedures.
To support both curious explorers and experienced simulator players, the game provides a full learning environment: the in-game Space Flight Academy, detailed spacecraft manuals, and step-by-step checklists. Reentry gives you the tools to learn these complex vehicles.
Watch the sunrise while orbiting Earth at 25,500 ft/s. Navigate toward the Moon. Monitor the systems that keep you alive while the planet moves beneath you. Feel the solitude and responsibility of being in space.
Reentry is a game about exploration and the experience of operating real spacecraft systems.
Learn the procedures. Master the systems. Complete the missions.
Ready to launch? Welcome to Reentry - A Space Flight Simulator.

heh it does run badly at high quality so i had to lower and disable alot of graphic settings to make it not crash
Space the video game
This is quite possibly one of the best, if not the BEST space simulator on the internet, It feels so immersive and the graphics are absolutely beautiful! Every switch and button does something different. One wrong move could kill you. The rockets are historically accurate and very detailed! I have been looking for a game like this for years, and I finally found it. Thank you for making this game! 10/10 would definitely recommend! (you need a decent computer to run this, If you dont have one, turn the graphics down, there are a lot of options for performance!)
Love the game, love the fact that it is the work of a single developer who spent 10 years bringing it to life, love that it's a labor of love and that it shows in every single detail, love that I'm not even a space nerd yet I've enjoyed every moment learning what it actually took to get humanity off this planet and most of all, love that Reentry is proof that one person, given the right attitude and enough time (pun intended), can turn something that once felt insurmountable into a beautiful piece of work the rest of us get to experience :) Completed the Mercury campaign; can't wait to get started on Gemini and Apollo!
The Apollo Module is very mind melting.
its so amazing! the textures are so good. the game is the best space game ever. and its realistic too.

Absolutely, unequivocally my favorite purchase this year! Besides the 10 years of hard work put into this game by the developer, I feel like it helps me appreciate the science of aeronautics a lot more than any other experience I have played. The learning curve is steep, of course; and there is a good chance that you will need to read the manual for each program while doing the academy trainings to get a good grasp of all of it. Despite this, the feeling you get when you complete a mission or a section of the launch for yourself without the tutorial is euphoric... Definitely a nugget of pure gold in a haystack but if you're an absolute nerd or just want to appreciate space missions for yourself, this game is the best bang for your buck, for sure. Also, note that you can run the game with 8GB RAM as my system is able to do so without any failures, lags, or crashes so far; and in fact, the whole experience has been incredibly smooth in general. Just turn down the graphics a bit, if you need to.
The dev was aiming for a gamified sim and this is it. Interactions in the craft are great. The Academy walks you through everything if you want to, and the checklists feature makes it quick to move through all of the procedures. Yeah, you're stuck in a metal tube for the most part, but you can go through all the mission sets from Mercury to Apollo. The space shuttle is currently in the works, so there's more to come.
