Redneck Rampage Rides Again

The original soundtrack is not provided. How can you play Redneck Rampage without the original music the original game came with? That, and the controls are hard, because they're not mapped to normal shooter keyboard layout. You have to press the ALT key to strafe, like with some games that came out at this time. I actually already have this game stashed away somewhere, and from what I recall you can remap the keys. That, and the CD has all of the songs licensed by Xatrix. Oh well. Did I mention there's no cuss pack with this thing?

Look, this game is great and its got lots of creativity with levels, weapons etc. The reason I can't recommend this is because it's a pointless $14.50 purchase. Buying the first Redneck Rampage, yes it will only give you that game without the expansion packs (Rides Again being one of them), Suckin Grits on Route 66 and no music. На этот раз Steam-версия не подкачала, всё на месте: музыка, нет вылетов, нет багов. Stand-alone дополнение Rides Again внесло массу нововведений в игровой процесс. Новое оружие, враги, средства передвижения, что пошло в плюс игре. Левелдизайн карт куда более приятнее, разнообразнее и проще, чем это было в оригинале. Бесили только уровни, специально заточенные под транспорт, их я всё равно проходил пешком, так как управление транспортом оставляет желать лучшего. Музыка слабее, конечно, чем в оригинале, но тоже ничего так, скажем. В общем и целом, данный продукт понравился мне больше самой Redneck Rampage, советую! 7 из 10.

Redneck Rampage Rides Again - это шутер от первого лица от компании Xatrix Entertainment. Не помню, в чём там завязка была, но мы опять ходим/ездим по американским пригородам и деревням и отстреливаем клонированных инопланетян. Шутер сделан на движке 2.5 Build (как и Blood, Duke Nukem 3D и Shadow Warrior). В этой игре вам дадут пострелять из арбалета начинённой динамитом живой курицей. Плюс будет возможность поездить и пострелять из мотоцикла. Геймплейно она не хуже оригинала, уровни большие и разнообразные. Бегаем, собираем ключи, открываем двери и тд. Игра кстати довольно сложная, и если спать то вас быстро убьют. В этой части серии таки добавили CD-Audio музыку, треки с блюз-музыкой, почему в оригинале не могли добавить - без понятия. Я прошёл как оригинал, так и эту игру, и мне понравилось. Рекомендую для олдскульщиков.

[h1] Genre [/h1] Ein First Person Shooter Klassiker [h1] Story [/h1] Die Story fängt dort an wo wir im Vorgänger aufgehört haben. Wir fliegen mit dem Alien Raumschiff zurück zur Erde crashen dabei aber und landen in El Paso, Texas und müssen nun einen Weg nach Hause finden [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Das Gameplay ähnelt dem Vorgänger bzw. ist gleich. Wir haben hier lediglich 2 Neue Waffen und zwar eine Harke & eine Chicken Werfer Armbrust. Letztere funktioniert wie die Reguläre Armbrust nur mit Heat Seeker Funktion. Es gibt auch 3 Neue Gegner Arten und zwar Cheerleaderinnen & Hasen ähnliche Kreaturen + eine Boss Version davon. Eine weitere Neuerung hier sind auch Fahrzeuge wie das Motorrad & das Boot welche man benutzen kann um längere Strecken hinter sich zu lassen aber man muss es nicht bis auf in einem Level weil man sonst nicht weiter kommt. Es gibt hier insgesamt 14 Level aufgeteilt in 2 Episoden. Die Level sind deutlich besser gestaltet als im Vorgänger aber bei einigen muss man oft hin und her laufen um Schalter & Schlüssel zu finden aber alles nicht so schlimm wie bei Vorgänger. Meine Spielzeit ist nur so gering weil ich das Spiel im Original Redneck Rampage via Patch mit intergriert habe (was ich auch Empfehle zu tun) weil man sonst hier die Katastrophale Steuerung via Maus hat und keine W,S,A,D Stuerung nutzen kann. Der beste Weg es zu spielen wäre durch einen Source Port. Sound & Musik sind auch hier wieder absolut Fantastisch gelungen [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Story ist OK (das bisschen was man hat) + Sehr Gute Musik + Sehr Guter Sound + Die Level machen Spaß (deutlich besser als im Vorgänger) +/- Leider keine Achievements - Die Version die hier angeboten wird ist so gut wie Unspielbar (man sollte am besten den Gog Patch oder einen Source Port verwenden um besser spielen zu können) [h1] Fazit [/h1] Der Nachfolger macht alles richtig und in einigen Fällen sogar einiges besser. Level Design ist hier deutlich besser gestaltet als im Vorgänger. Die Neuen Gegner sind gut gemacht und sowohl Sound als auch die Musik sind wieder richtig gut. Das einzige Negative ist die Version des Spiels selbst denn diese ist so gut wie unspielbar, da sollte man wie gesagt am besten einen Source Port oder den Patch den man in der Community findet nutzen für ein besseres Spiel Erlebnis. Ich hoffe das es bald eine Remastered Version von den beiden Teilen geben wird, am besten von Nightdive Studios denn die wissen wie es geht. 「Redneck Rampage」でエイリアンの女王ヴィクセンを倒してアーカンソーの危機を救い、「Suckin' Grits on Route 66」でルート66を爆走しながらエイリアン軍団を皆殺しにした主人公レナードとその弟バッバ。 エイリアンからちゃっかり巨大UFOを強奪した二人はそれに乗って故郷ヒックストンへ帰ろうとするが、操作ミスでバッバが小型UFOに乗ったまま地表へと墜落。それを追ったレナードも飲酒運転で砂漠のド真ん中へと不時着してしまう。 レナードが辿り着いた砂漠のド真ん中にある米軍施設「エリア69」では、エイリアンの捕獲研究中に収容違反が発生。基地はクローン人間たちによって占拠され、再び侵略が開始されようとしていた。 武装バイクを手に入れたレナードは遭難したバッバと共に、灼熱の砂漠や籠城中のカルト教団アジト、薄汚い沼地、遊覧船、レース場といった各地に潜むエイリアン軍団を皆殺しにしながら故郷ヒックストンへと向かう。 Redneck Rampageの基本システムはそのままに、大幅にレベルデザインの改善が図られたRedneck Rampageシリーズ第3作。発売は「Half-Life」と同じく1998年と明らかにクオリティが年代に追い付いていないが、FPSとしての最終作ということもありRnRシリーズ隋一の作りこみを誇る作品となっている。 武装は特に変化はなく、新たに不規則に動くニワトリを括りつけたダイナマイトクロスボウが追加された程度。しかしこれとは別に事故ると痛いが高い火力と速度を持つ武装バイクと、陸地も走れる迫撃砲を積んだスワンプボートという二種類の乗り物が登場している。また、敵勢力には新たにチアリーダーやバイカー、クソデカげっ歯類やその親玉、巨大エイリアンの強化体などいくつかのキャラが新登場。新たなキャラクターたちと多彩な戦闘を繰り広げていく、バラエティ豊かな戦闘が楽しめる。 初代RnRでは殺風景で理不尽だったレベルデザインも順当に進化し、ユーモア豊富な作りこみと適度な親切さを持つ面白みのある内容に。エリア69で生物研究施設を荒したり、ボートで沼地に墜落した旅客機を捜して遺品を漁ったり、ミシシッピ川で遊覧船を爆破沈没させて脱出したり、バイクレースに参加して敵バイカーを血祭りに上げたり、エル〇ィス記念館を襲撃して墓を暴き、遺体から衣装を剥ぎ取ってエ〇ヴィスごっこをしたりとBuild engineゲーらしいおもしろロケーションが大幅に増加している。 終盤で一部鍵の隠し方やスイッチの効果が分かりづらかったり、バイクやボートの操作感がだいぶぎこちなかったり、エンディングが相変わらず簡素だったりと相変わらず完成度が高いとは言えない部分も多いが、豊富に詰め込まれたバラエティ豊かな展開はプレイしていてついつい先が気になってしまうワクワク感を生み出している。 前2作の苦行さに辟易した人でも、ちょっと触ってみて欲しい意外と面白いゲームだ。

First of all, I am about 50/50 on recommending this game, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Nevertheless, while Redneck Rampage Rides Again improves on the original in many ways, it is very much flawed and at many times a chore. The best of this game is what it changes from the original, and the worst is what it does not. Still, If you want to play Redneck Rampage, this is the one. PROS: - Much better level design than the original, but there are still some confusing sections - Some of the best visuals for the build engine (at least back in the day) - Great soundtrack - Does not drag as much as the original CONS: - Enemies are still pretty terrible - Weapons remain useless and the hit-detection is way off - Terrible port, install Rednukem if you play this game - Tons of glitches
