REDEEMER: Enhanced Edition is a brutal, no-compromise brawler where fists, steel, and firepower collide in a relentless storm of violence. Fight your way through waves of enemies using bare hands, hammers, firearms — or turn the environment itself into a weapon. This is the genre pushed forward with raw intensity, deep melee systems, and savage, cinematic executions.
Play as Vasily, an elite operative who once worked for one of the biggest Cybernetic Weapons Manufacturers in the world. Officially working in security, you were tasked with infiltration, assassination, extortion and even torture. When eventually the corporation decided to turn you into one of its cyborg soldiers, you manage to narrowly escape to a secluded monastery deep in the snowy mountains.
For 20 years you tried to find peace and harmony amongst your fellow monks, but you are still too haunted by your murderous past to find either. Now after all of these years the corporation is finally closing-in on your location, and in so doing they have given you one last shot at redemption.
Intense Top Down Action: Take out enemies using a wide selection of fire arms and melee weapons including combat knives, batons, fire axes, hammers and many more.
Brutal Hand-to-Hand Combat: Use your mercenary skills to beat down your opponents using a collection of brutal fighting moves, combos, charge- and jump attacks.
Unique Kill System: Use three different types of kills to mercilessly eliminate enemies. Sneak around levels undetected to silently perform graceful stealth kills, or use the very environment to dispatch your opponents using environmental kills by smashing their skulls, impaling them and setting them ablaze in flames (many more options available). Utilize your combat prowess to beat down your opponents enough to enable you to perform savage execution kills that will have you reaching for the screen capture key.
Parry System: Defend yourself whilst taking down your enemies by utilizing a well-timed block. Learn the movements and attack patterns of different enemy types to perfect your parry and create a ballet of death for all of those unlucky enough to oppose you.
Disarm-or-Dismember System: Use a unique combat move to either disarm enemies of their fire arms, or dismember certain enemies at will and use their limbs as melee weapons.
Story Driven Single-Player: Discover Vasily's haunted past and experience a narrative journey of betrayal and redemption.
Character class selection: level up Vasily as a monk or as a soldier, depending on your fighting style preferences.
Cooperative game mode for two players. Walk through the game alongside your friend and may your gamepads be the ultimate weapons of retribution!
Arena Mode: Practice and test your fighting skills by battling countless enemies in a horde-like Arena Mode.

O gameplay é o grande foco aqui. O combate mistura pancadaria corpo a corpo com armas de fogo, mas o que realmente faz diferença é a agressividade. O jogo praticamente te recompensa por entrar no meio dos inimigos e resolver tudo da forma mais violenta possível. As execuções são uma das partes mais marcantes. Você pode finalizar inimigos usando o cenário inteiro ao seu favor, esmagando, jogando em armadilhas ou simplesmente destruindo tudo na força bruta. Isso dá bastante impacto às lutas. O combate corpo a corpo funciona surpreendentemente bem. Parry, esquiva e contra-ataque deixam as batalhas mais intensas do que só apertar botão sem pensar. As armas de fogo ajudam a variar o ritmo, principalmente em áreas com muitos inimigos armados, mas eu senti que o jogo realmente brilha quando você parte pra pancadaria direta. O ritmo é bem acelerado e quase não existe pausa. Você entra em uma sala, elimina todo mundo, segue pra próxima e repete o ciclo. O que mais me pegou foi justamente essa sensação de brutalidade constante. Ele não tenta reinventar nada, só entregar ação visceral do começo ao fim.

Прошел Redeemer: Enhanced Edition почти на одном дыхании - и это тот редкий случай, когда игра цепляет с первых минут и не отпускает до финала. Боевка - просто огонь. Чувствуется вес каждого удара, комбинации работают плавно, а импровизация в драках приносит настоящее удовольствие. Особенно кайфово использовать окружение - это добавляет динамики и делает каждую стычку чуть более уникальной. История тоже приятно удивила: мрачная, местами философская, с попыткой осмыслить прошлое и искупление. Не шедевр нарратива, но держит интерес до самого конца. Из странного: два главных босса показались проще, чем орды врагов перед ними. Иногда приходилось больше потеть на зачистке уровней, чем в финальных схватках - немного сбивает баланс и ожидания. Но в целом - очень крепкий и драйвовый экшен, который отлично заходит, если хочется чего-то динамичного и без лишней воды. Однозначно рекомендую. Буду проходить и другие игры данной студии.
It's kinda fun, and often shows up with a hefty discount. Not long enough to get too repetitive. Not much of a story, but the punching bit is entertaining enough. Uses surprisingly much GPU for a 2017 game. Probably wasn't optimised very well, but relatively easy to power through today.
Juego corto muy divertido y rejugable. Lo mejor que tiene es el combate, el cual consiste en cuerpo a cuerpo y armas a distancia con buena variedad y un sistema de habilidades y mejoras que está muy bien implementado. Muy recomendado para una tarde disfrutona.
Es corto, pero ofrece diversión y de la buena. Me ha recordado mucho a la epoca en la que jugaba a final fight. Eso si, un poco repetitivos los enemigos, pero esta bien porque en 5 horas te lo liquidas.
This game is fantastic!!
Good game while the story has no real depth the game play is solid and reminds me of the combat system from Arkham. The power ups start out rather subtle but at the middle the pack lot of power.
