Завязка интригует: вы играете за блогера, который решает проникнуть на секретную станцию, чтобы заснять конфиденциальные материалы. Однако, оказавшись внутри, он быстро понимает, что живых здесь больше нет — все мертвы, станция захвачена какой-то странной субстанцией, а жуткие события произошли явно не без участия некоего монстра, от которого вам и предстоит спасаться. История сама по себе довольно банальна, но её спасают две вещи — лавкрафтовский стиль и живой персонаж. Протагонист постоянно комментирует происходящее, пугается, реагирует на всё, что видит. Иногда это даже раздражает, особенно в атмосферных моментах, когда герой не замолкает, но в то же время это делает его более реалистичным. Мы играем не за безмолвную оболочку, а за глупого блогера, который оказался не в том месте и не в то время, и теперь ему приходится выживать, встречаясь лицом к лицу с внеземным ужасом. Финал особенно впечатляет: концовка удачно завершает историю и выполнена в духе Лавкрафта, что приятно удивляет. Геймплей в основном сводится к исследованию станции: вы читаете записки, слушаете аудиозаписи учёных и сотрудников, пытающихся разобраться с ужасами этого места. Ближе к концу вам предстоит убегать и прятаться от монстра, выполняя при этом несколько задач. Всё довольно просто, и каких-то инноваций ожидать не стоит. Отдельно стоит отметить озвучку и интерфейс терминалов, которые напомнили мне первые части Fallout. Разработчик уже работает над новой игрой, которая будет происходить в той же вселенной, и определённо есть потенциал для создания уникальных локаций и интересных историй. В целом, Habilis — это короткий, но качественно сделанный хоррор, который можно пройти за 40 минут. Игра предлагает неплохую озвучку, простой, но увлекательный сюжет с неожиданным финалом, а также приятные глазу локации и стилистику. Если вам нравятся короткие хорроры с сюжетом и ненапряжным геймплеем, то стоит присмотреться к этому проекту.

Walking simulator with some decent ideas and elements, main voice acting is great. Hiding in a lock scenario seemed arbitrary. On saying that, for the price and the fact something so polished with only 1/2minor bugs is a great testament. Defiantly worth a go.

[h1]Well Done![/h1] The game was well-paced overall, and the various elements implemented were done to the standards I personally expected, if not greater. I had a great time voicing Shipping Manager Jessie, Secretary Lydia Anderson, my OC (Original Character), and Creepy Whispers #1, as credited in the game credits. Thanks to Seth and the rest of the project team members for bringing this endeavor to life. I can only assume Mother Hub (once released) will be of the same caliber of quality.

Basically a paid demo made by a solo dev. Fun but not great. Inconsistent gameplay ,ie why do you allow us to run/use flashlight on some floors but not others? It doesn't make the game scarier, it is just frustrating.

Well. There’s not much here. It’s basically a paid demo for Mother Hub, but I knew that when buying it. If this is a glimpse at what Mother Hub will be, then consider me stoked! I love games from devs like this. Beautiful game, simple concept, interesting story. I really, really don’t like the stalking type enemies tho. I find it to be cheap horror (tho it does a scare the crap out of me) but I’m just not a fan of that. The hide and seek thing of Alien Isolation, I really hope that element isn’t in Mother Hub.

I enjoyed the scary atmosphere and retro vibes. The narrative was great. You can really explore the depth of back story by discovering audio logs which really paint a picture. Highly recommend.

A short prologue for the series. But an amazing one. Absolutely worth the price and an hour of your time; it's the closest thing to SOMA... since SOMA

Awesome game! For the price, it's a steal. Had some great VA in it, especially the voice of Nathan Walters, the POV/protagonist. Awesome visuals, effects, and environments. Great atmosphere and a surprising amount of world-building for a ~45-min experience. There was a nice handful of brutal jump scares that felt appropriate and not cheap or contrived. Great tension and pacing and that growing/persistent sense of dread that only the best horror games can illicit. The lore links it to the game Mother Hub, which is another one that needs to be on your radar (wishlist!). I played the Mother Hub demo and it's incredible. Looking forward to seeing more from ODale in the future, and REALLY excited about Mother Hub!
