Curator page here--> DaRevieweD #171 <-- New review every Weekend

"CODE RED COLONY…!!"
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2780497809 Here's The Thing: In this third and final Red Colony Uncensored (RCU), you gain access to Mina; a droid from Titan. Everything was going smooth as can be… Having successfully obtained samples from both Red and Blue Colony under the strict directives of her Queen. She was last seen on route for home but now she awakes out of the blue in a daze. The Queen is dead and Mina’s face plastered on wanted signs for having assassinated her~
! DISCLAIMER:
The tamest among the trilogy but of course, the obligatory bare boob shots will still be there. This is the uncensored version after all! Best to get in here ONLY ONCE you have finished the two titles prior to RCU3. It does catch you up to speed but just isn’t very apt or well explained. Be sure to also spy on my reviews of RCU and RCU2~
[+] PROS;

:) COULDN’T BE MORE OVER-DROID~
Retains the identical three-weapon formula and levelling up of security clearance in order to progress! Although this time they come with a laser sight, which was super neat. The puzzles are of a bolder, wittier and out-the-game thinking. But you should know the drill by now; look around for the solutions within the same room! Controls ever so mechanically, and that’s not a dish on the robot protagonist. The biggest change is the phasing out of health items and melee items; the former being replaced by sets of clothing instead, which needless to say get noticeably skimpy the more damage you sustain. The kicker here is that you do- at some point, have to change out of those rags and find more to literally survive another blow… Which is a first for the series, where appearance actually matter aside from the vain and pervy sense. Once again, it doesn’t break the franchise’s tradition of having 2 hours’ worth of playtime at the very least and at most 3 hours! Endings wise, I suppose there are two canonical outcomes? And maybe with a secret one too, if anything is to be learnt from their track record. A fact I didn’t know until a miniscule search on YT~
TIPS:
1) You are invulnerable during certain bits! Hinted by invisible walls! 2) Hydrate every time someone says “inside you” or “inside me”… https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2780493932
:) PERFECTION; ROCK HARD AND CAN TAKE A LOT!
Okay I have to come out and say it- Mina is the best gurl!! That sky blue, flowing hair is enough to transport you to heaven. The anatomically incorrect “but hey she’s a ro-BUST, customizable android” so it’s cool bod. Wardrobe is a shoe-in. The locations on the other hand, are running out of a muse but the lighting stays immaculate to hopefully detract from the reused assets. Luckily, the darker and scrapyard themes do position it as far as possible from the cheerier and drunk vibes of the past! But there’s a humbly inane quality to RCU3 in it paying its respects to its predecessors which sealed the deal in terms of being a fun gal and series! Like including discoverable outfits worn by the OGs, making “we didn’t screw up” nods to flaws pointed out. It’s unremorseful and I give it a load of props for that~
:) WHAT A NIPPLE TWIST…?
Heck, even the story has knowing winks and bij slaps to the “catfighting” drama. You remember, the sappy yet scandalous lube opera of RCU? It is the belle of the ball here where the two leads fight over a dude. The considerate, innocently naïve Mina and the intelligent but loudly provocative, asking for a beating Juli who has a habit of flitting off screen. This time around, the “may the finest ho” gets cranked up to eleven and frankly, it’s what saved the story! The obvious manipulation mixed in with the statement of how love seemingly conquers all, though overplayed was executed with such jubilation and spiritedness. With fake outs, sudden outbursts as frequent as a computer infected by a virus. Yes, I do still think of RCU2 as the unbested sequel with a most sympathetic MC and underbelly world that isn’t ashamed by its sexuality. But I do admit, the robot learning to love angle here, relinquishing control from a maternal figure and “turning” to mirror that of being human got me a bit. That and the navigation- intent of said love; puppy or not made it so teachable~ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2780500739
[-] CONS;

:( A TRIAL-OGY IN JEOPARDY!
What the three-parter has made vividly clear is the reluctance to improve any fundamental aspect of the game! With each one bearing the same combat system, give or take tweaks that are superfluous and inconsequential. So it felt like playing a singular game that could have been one nine-hour long ride but was segmented specifically to rake in the moolah…
:( PLEASE WIPE MY HARD DRIVE…
The bugs are indicative of that cut-from-one-battered cloth mentality. I don’t know if they were rushed or just deliberately put out in those questionable conditions. But the oversight didn’t help them none… Again, more will be laid out in the coming sections. One other thing that just popped into my head now, after three entries? The huge hole and vacuum in the sound design. I’m speaking both in terms of sound effects, which fall on deaf ears by not distinguishing themselves between games and the score- if you can label it that, is like a love scene. It’s the part you only want to witness, but there’s not enough to go around~
:( TO BAN OVER BACKWARDS.
Now the central story arc, which I called in the last review by the by- loses the spark and gravity of RCU. And not to mention the genuine connection of RCU2… I will praise however, that the nudity now matches the situation for once- thank god it only took them three tries! But seriously, apart from a few touchy-feely disclosure of motives and loose ends being tied up. I didn’t have the hots for the lore~
BUGS:
x I am drained… Most if not all of the bugs mentioned previously return to the point of becoming a running gag. x Traversal animations play twice x Zombie strokes out at the sight of my voluptuousness x Footsteps heard where literally there isn’t anyone in sight. x Killed while having a conversation. x THEN, after having to sit through that conversation; game cannot be interacted with because y’know dead. x First time freezing issues. x Character floats after staircase transitions. x Very blurry textures, like even more than usual. The worst is for the object in background. x Loading progress can’t decide where to spawn you! x Hit points don’t accurately reflect health. With one outfit bugging out. Starting at 1hp, even when reloaded. x AI doesn’t get triggered when crawling to him.
NITPICKS:
~ Button to skip conversation please! ~ Can I, at the very least- fire my weapon while on the keyboard lol. ~ Typos galore! Verbs don’t agree with subject.
"- IS NOW A DEAD AND READ COLONY."
Last Words? Arguably the weakest in the trilogy of floppy, sloppy and bubbly good times. Quality can’t stay uniform and lessons haven’t been learned. But no big love was lost either. Overall, a fitting send-off~ If you liked the first two entries, I don’t see why you shouldn’t go for this one as well! If you love your survival horrors with a level of mockery few can match up to… Then take it off, I MEAN. Take off right now~
6.2 / 10

My metallic hugs and kisses to RunicCodes for the key~

Don't forget to follow my curator DaRevieweD for more games!!
Red Colony 1 and 2 are keyboard supported but not number 3? Why? So weird.
Opět hra ve formě 2D plošinovky s hororovými a NSFW motivy.
