About
The original creators of Little Nightmares™ & Little Nightmares™ II have returned to take you on a more terrifying journey than ever before. In this co-op horror adventure game, you play as a brother & sister who go through hell to rescue their missing friends. Exploring by boat and on land, you must use your wits to survive, work together to escape the hellish island, and the dark secret that haunts you.
In this unsettling tale, the emphasis is on tension and thick atmosphere, as you join the two orphans on a desperate search for hope and redemption in the direst of circumstances.
Traverse an intriguing but terrifying world, where the main path is only one part of the fragmented story. Discover all sorts of mysterious locations on your perilous journey, each with its own story to tell.
Tarsier Studios is bringing their unique visual style to bear on a whole host of new twisted monsters and broken, yet resilient, child characters. Fragments of the children's troubled past have been used as inspiration for their character design, and for the monsters that now torment them.
Nobody should be forced to go through hell alone! Fully playable in single player and local & online co-op, REANIMAL has a shared, directed camera, designed to maximise claustrophobia and tension.

A Chilling return to form for Tarsier Studios, REANIMALwill surely earn its place as one of the top 10 co-op horror games of the decade. Tarsier Studios, the minds behind the first two entries of the beloved "Little Nightmares" series, deliver a chilling evolution with *REANIMAL*, a co-op (but perfectly playable as a single player game which is how i experienced it) survival horror adventure (fusing too many genres to name!) released in February 2026. Playing as two children, one navigates a nostalgia-tainted (Tarsier Studio excels at turning "nostalgia" into something twisted and eerie) island now ravaged by war, flooding, grotesque monsters, and an oppressive atmosphere. The goal is simple yet elegantly executed: rescue one's missing companions (are they friends?) and escape the stale gehenna that you once called home. The game shines brightest in its atmosphere (ironic pun intended). Macabre, cinematic visuals blend seamless platforming, stealth, and light combat into an immersive little nightmare (did ya catch that?). Environmental puzzles are clever and tense, often requiring tight coordination in co-op mode (though fully playable solo). Boat explorations add welcome variety, breaking up the relentless darkness with dynamic set pieces. The haunting score and sound design amplify every creak and distant scream, evoking Ari Aster-level unease. Narratively, REANIMAL explores the innocence of children caught up within the eternal consequences of their unfathomable cruelty, delivering emotional weight amid the gore and frights. As with their previous entries, it's tightly paced (6ish hours) without becoming a tedious slog, though some trial-and-error deaths and finicky controls can frustrate (as was also the case with their previous entries!) Minor gripes aside, this experience surpasses its predecessors in scope and polish. It’s a must-play for horror fans craving strong narrative, stunning presentation, and cooperative chills. Tarsier has crafted something special—an island you’ll want to flee but won’t soon forget. note: in much the same way that the film Galaxy Quest became an unofficial but universally acknowledged de facto entry to the star trek franchise, so too will Reanimal be considered an unofficial but universally acknowledged de facto entry into the Little Nightmares franchise. That being said i think there are enough fresh ideas within Reanimal that even those individuals who DID not enjoy Little Nightmares may potentially find joy(terror?) in experiencing this game.
неоднозначная игра, довольно короткая и один раз крашнула но для кооператива которых сейчас довольно мало, неплохо
it’s fun to play with a friend. i like the art concept a lot - it’s disturbingly cute. i got jump scared a few times but im a scaredy cat so i dunno. other than that, its a game you could wait to go on sale rather than buying full price.
